To each his own. I like a fast loading and uncluttered interface (plus the free POP access, which is the way I access GMail 99.9% of the time), others like a web-based desktop email app replacement that has all of the bells and whistles.
And now the ironic thing is that this lawsuit is bringing more publicity to the family and the photo than if they had sat back and done nothing. I.e. the "Streisand effect".
I don't have firsthand experience, but the Personal Internet Communicator (or similar devices (e.g. webtv)) may be what you are looking for if you are starting from scratch and have a bit of a budget.
It would appear that the Google cache is using the current images from the live site for some reason. Also, the web archive (which usually also grabs images and such) doesn't have any copies of the site in question available.
But there is a huge advantage to going with only one rather than both - and since everyone else in the world uses metric, why not use it too? And actually there is a pretty big advantage to metric - you don't have to remember that there are 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, and some other random number of yards in a mile. Pushing a decimal around is just so much easier.
I find that it helps to "see" what I am converting, if I multiply a length by 12, for example, it is easy to identify that as converting feet to inches. When you string a bunch of conversions together, you can tell what's going on more easily than seeing a series of 10*10*10... Of course, if you take the time to write each step out and add the unit after each number, this probably doesn't matter as much.
But the original submitter was hinting at using a tablet PC and a stylus, which would cause trouble if your left arm is blocking the screen while reaching across it to move the scrollbar.
I know there is a "label" or two out there that will submit your music to Apple/Itunes. One, for example, charges a flat fee per song to initially submit it, and then you get the full 70% or so per download. Wish I could remember the name of it though.
Or add the security tab to XP Home without needing to always reboot into safe mode, just follow the advice on this site: http://www.scottxp.com/winxp.php#advuser, scroll down to the "Advanced File Sharing & Security" section, and follow method 3. I did it, and it works well.
Good point, but does Microsoft make any money each time you use CALC!!!, MSPAINT!!!, or NOTEPAD!!!? I think not... Do they make money every time you use MSN search? On average, yes they do.
Looks, from the WP article posted above, that a ring oscillator is an odd number of NOT logic gates strung end-to-end, so that when one outputs high/1/true, the next one outputs low/0/false (the opposite), which then feeds into the next gate... when you get back to the original gate, you give it high/1/true so that it then outputs low/0/false (switches from being true to false), and the gates switch their outputs around in a circle over and over again.
perhaps a diagram?:
NOT gate 1 -> NOT gate 2 -> NOT gate 3 -> NOT gate 1 -> NOT gate 2...(lather, rinse, repeat) output: T F T F T note how they continue to switch from true to false, as fast as possible? This is how they generate a wave.
Where are the Lego logic gates? That's a major advance to miniaturizing these giant computers of ours!
Anyways, the extra energy from CO waste gas seems interesting and important, although from skimming I couldn't figure out what would be the chemical product of extracting the extra energy. Does anyone know?

I recommend the AlphaSmart, they are basically portable keyboards with a bunch of memory. Connect to a computer with a special keyboard wire, and send. There are many different types, and all shouldn't be too expensive.

Sure, go Settings->Preferences->Advanced, check "Advanced options", uncheck "One instance when started from file", and hit the save button.
