Talk about a waste of time for everyone. The least they could have done was look through the window to see if there was anything worth taking and then move on to someone else's car.

Short of violent evidence (bruises, cuts, and scrapes), any evidence you find in a rape can likely be found in consensual sex as well.

I think that's the problem, it basically boils down to he said/she said. And even then, just the accusation of being a rapist is enough to condemm a man to hell.

Maybe you should stick to your own advice about RTFA a little closer.

Towards the end of the article, the author starts his own car using a pre-determined series of control movements by way of pressing and depressing the brake, the emergency brake and the key position all without the use of the RFID. This code basically bypasses the use of RFID to start the car.

This is sort of like the U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,B,A,Select,Start for cars.

Buy stock, buy bonds, even buy gold, but don't buy realestate. Real estate only makes sense when you know the population will increase, and demand will increase. What if population decreases?

Why not Real Estate? There will always be demand for it. Simple Supply and Demand chart will explain it to you.

Since they aren't making anymore land, supply will always stay the same, or drop as people buy it up. Demand will go up because everyone wants land. So, in the end, you'll get rich off of land. Though, real estate typically has been a long long term investment.

But on the plus side, when the oil runs out we can stop worrying about which muslim countries want to kill each other this week. Anyway, we're unlikely to run out of coal/methane so we can always take a page out of Brazil's handbook and use alcohol. Sure it's not the best thing for the environment, but I hardly think that will matter in 50 years.

When we run out of oil, aren't we just going to have a bunch of other problems beside no fuel for SUVs? Given that oil is a raw material for building just about anything besides gas, and coal and natural gas can only go so far to replace oil.

We need to find something and we need to find it fast. If only the world spent money on research and development instead of defense, we'd almost be living in utopia by now.
