Ah, the new brand of "Suck the life out of me" smokes.
To bad you can see the inner box.... No, they're heads really aren't under water...
Could be the new way smokers have to smoke in public... would really cut down on the amount of second-hand-smoke... of course, it would cause a new problem, second-hand-water & dead people laying around.
Find out what ISP they are going through and report this to the FBI/Police/Lawyer (like everyone else says). Then disable the system... if you have access to the system (remote control) take all of the permissions off of the HD. Once this is done, the system won't even boot up, as the system won't have access to it (if it is windows that is).
Oh, this will be another way for Sony to get more money. When they added on the rumble feature to the PS1, people thought they had to buy a new PS1 to get the 'new' feature... Little did they know they just had to get the new controllers... I'm sure Sony is hoping that people will fall for this again and start selling more PS3s when they bring this 'new' feature out... and you know they're going to try and market it as a new feature as well... wonder what they'll call it this time... Force Rumble Feedback? Motion Feedback?
This would be cool to see what happens when you put the controller down and let it vibrate across the floor... with the six-axis working at the same time....
And they're real secret weapon is reselling used copies of games as new copies. This has happened to me a couple of times at different EB/Gamestops in my area.... So, buy that used copy off someone for a few dollars, and turn around and sell it to the next person as a new copy.... Check you boxes before you leave! If they don't have the seals on them, Complain right away! =)
BTW, The Xbox 360 HD is user replaceable as well... just with a 'official' Microsoft Xbox 360 drive... Nothing saying that they won't/can't be replaced with a bigger one in the near future (seeing as how they are planning on a larger drive soon).
XBLA = Xbox Live Arcade. Currently the games (where) limited to 50 megs. Demos can also be downloaded, and most of those are over 100 megs in size.
They upped the size of the Live Arcade games from 50 megs to 250 megs. These are the games that you can either play a demo of, or purchase if you want (and don't have to worry about putting the disk in to play it).
Do they have full games for the PS3 (that you can purchase online and play off the HD) yet? It's good to hear they have the demos and such. =)
Actually, no, this is not entrapment (in most states). This will most time lead to a search warrant for that person(s) (if need be) that will (almost always) lead to more evidence against the poacher (meat, skins, etc) found in their homes/cabins.
This has been used in my area (PA) and works very well for catching the poachers. And, no, they don't learn.... I've heard many stories from the game wardens here about the poachers chasing the 'robot' turkey around the field trying to catch it after they shot it... amongst all of the foam flying around the field (parts that were shot off the 'turkey'). I'm guessing they knew they were busted, but wanted to try and hide the evidence.
Ok, so, how are the loading screens? BC?
Does the PS3 suffer like the PS1/PS2 did/does from loading screens?
Do the PS2 games play?
Are the games worth it?
The system has hundreds of games for it already! Look at all these PS2/PS1 games it can play! Why, you have hundreds of (repeat/re-hashed/duplicate) games to play until we get some new/repeat/re-hashed games out for the PS3 system! Buy, Buy, Buy!!!! Trade in your older systems now and save (very little) on the new PS3 toaster oven!
And how many of the 'new' 'next-gen' games will just use the PS2 emulation chip? Time will tell.....
Well, when you're dealing with a terminal emulation program that interfaces with your call management system... it's kinda hard to do when that emulation program isn't programmed to automaticly change the case of the characters... it would be nice, but haven't seen it yet....
Some companies still use applications that require information to be typed in caps (my current employer for example). These applications (most) don't have the option to convert the information into caps as it's typed in, or it's the company standard...
What about the Data entry people that have to type things in all caps? Holding down the shift button to type in a whole line will be more of a pain then someone learning how to turn their caps lock off.....
And what's to say they won't release editors on the XB360? One thing that Microsoft has been saying about the console, People will be able to share/sell their maps and content to other xbox live people. Of course, that does require games to come with editors...
Could be interesting...
From working in a Depot repairing printers (inkjets/laser/color laser/solid ink), here is my experience with these printers;
Inkjet Printers: Good for small jobs. Most of these printers are considered throwaway printers. When the ink cartridges cost as much as the printer, it's a throwaway.... Unless you like the printer too much...
Laser Printers (B/W): Good for small - large jobs. These are good printers for printing out your emails and manuals. They have a much lower cost per page than Inkjet, but they do cost more to start out with as the printer costs more, but the toner isn't that bad.
Color Laser Printers: Good for small - medium jobs. These are great for printing out those presentations and photos. Anything that would go to a customer or needed for future (photos) would be acceptable from a color laser printer. These do tend to cost more than a B/W Laser printer; 3-4 toners versus 1 toner, higher repair cost(s).
Solid Ink: Good for small - medium jobs. These are basically like the color laser printers, but have a better quality to them. When you print out a photo on these, they look/feel like a photo you would get from your local photo-lab. I wouldn't recommend them for printing out your emails, but photos and presentations look great from these. There cost isn't that bad per/page, but repair costs can be a killer on these (a drum or head can cost as much as the printer did). BTW, you don't want to use generic ink on these printers... They will cost you the print head guaranteed.
That does look like a bad toner cartridge. Have you tried another one?
If not, try another toner cartridge and make sure it's a orignal lexmark cartridge; don't user some cheap generic/refurbished cart, they will always cause you more grief.
I've recently been the proud owner of two paperweights: First, an HP LaserJet 1100, which continually misfed papers and smeared toner
Ah, the good old HP 1100. Good printer, a few problems...
I've worked on these so many times I can now fix them blindfolded. Dis-assemble printer, fix printer, and re-assemble printer... (best time repairing one; 15 minutes (seperator pad, pickup roller, cleaning, fuser roller replacement))
Most common problem on these printers; Separator pad and pickup rollers go bad. Short and easy fix. Yes, HP had a 'fix' for them a couple years ago, but that was just a patch (little post-it-note with a seperation pad on it) till they got the new model printers out.
If you want to fix this printer yourself, you can find the parts you need here: http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main
Just search for your printer model (Number or Name) to get a parts list. Next, find a local repair shop that will sell you the parts (or, heck see how much they will charge to fix it).
Nah, the kid just wants a SubWay foot long sub. It's not the wig that's scaring him, he's hungry!

Hmmm... have to wonder how long the batteries last on this 'chair'...
Does it require a license to run on the road? sidewalk?
Hope it has a seat belt for when you're going down hill... looks to be a pretty far drop if you fall out.
Does it have a deadman switch on it to kill the power when you do fall out of it? 'Man falls out of his chair and is then run over.'
Laser helmet optional....
Image a Boewulf cluster of these!
Johnny 5, eat your heart out!
Ta-Da! Where did the Camcorder go?

So, what other 'Pet Projects' are next?
So, does this mean the PS3 will have more games based on movies?
