GTA is a GAME, it is ment to be played FOR FUN. It's like cops and robbers in the playground. As long as people understand that it's ment to be fun and nothing more then there is no problem.
It's exactly like nudists for example. Some people see it as sexual and may want to abuse it to get their own way (GTA made me shoot my baby, rob a drug store then hump a lamp post!), where as the real people involved just see it as "What we want to do".

Think of all the electric I will save when I use them 3 microseconds of extra sunlight in the evening! I could save a whole seconds worth of power before I die! I don't even feel guilty for running 2 PCs all day long now!
Thousnads of people play the lottery. This is completely different. Lay out 37 cups, get someone to put a ball under one and then you have 1 shot at finding the ball. The chance of it happening are very very slim.

Just think for the next pokemon game, rather then it be rommed to hell (which it will). They could put a code in the manual which you put in the DS connected to a PC and it'll give you a free legendary pokemon.
Not an amazing feature but it'd be intresting. I think that's really the best way to look at this, no longer will we have to go "oh well, I'll settle for half" in 2 part games, we can just use this!
Theres no "Perfect book", you need to know peoples intrests and it's not difficult to just ask what they'd like. It says you buying something they don't want, then they will do the same for you and you both get what you want and theres none of that "Oh yea I love it.. cough fire lighter", type of thing.
I tried to run HL2 and it told me I had to update first, 20 minutes of waiting on 56k then I could play. Offline mode wont work if your HL2 has an update waiting and it knows it.
bit late to "fix it". The damage has already been done, they need a system where you can go "Hey they didn't invent that!", where they will require you to give information proving the patent is totally wrong.
Wouldn't you just love to see a Slashdot article saying "Microsoft lose 50,000 patents due to false claims"?

Microsoft claims TTs are not good for watching, and everyone should use Windows media player instead.
Put a 5p (3c) tax on every CD and DVD sold from this date and all of it goes to him. He could live off that easily.

Why do you need a calendar, I was under the impression Outlook was used 99% of the time as a mail client.. which Thunderbird already beats it at..
