I do not think that Blizzard has any legal basis for terminating people, and believe that it may be a breach of contract on their part.
what contract? they own the game, the servers, the data accumulated on their servers, and only ban your present account. You are completely free to make another account and start playing again.
also, alot of people are "saying" they used linux, when they were using glider but are just piling on the wagon
Unfortunately slashdot would lose half its customers if it didn't keep posting about M$ updates so all the zealots can get in their weekly preaching on about how grate *nix/macs are atleast once a week.
I also have a Scientific American HD recorder cable box thingy. Mine can record two shows at once, have extra hard drives attached to it, can record and play back HD content, and it was FREE from Time Warner Cable... well, $10 bucks/month, but I'll call that the high definition cable fee.
Analysts say the fact the authorities are being more open about this launch may indicate that they are more confident of its success.
their confidence should come from the superior technology they are able to use in all phases of preparation, testing, creation, and launch. Imagine the balls it took to do this in the 60s with the very new rocket technology and very little computing power.
From the manufacturer's website http://www.virtusphere.net/product.htm
The poor bastard in the top picture totally got jipped. Between the two versions, I would have definitely chosen the black metal alloy mesh one... and not the lame clear plastic one.
Still, neither one would get you laid
because we can barely ship oil across an ocean for a decent price, somehow I don't see how flying a big ass rocket back and forth between here and Mars full of heavy rocks is going to be cheap.
It takes us tons of fuel already to send a tiny robot to Mars. Just imagine how much fuel it would take to send a rocket there full of enough excess fuel for a return trip loaded with rocks. That's some high shipping costs!
STOP MODDING THIS FUNNY!!
It is getting way overused. This isn't funny. STOP!! The Overlords thing is getting way overused on every damn slashdot thread in not funny cases, like this one.
despite the fact that everyone on/. is enfatuated with the idea that hating windows and loving OSX and *nix is good just so you can fit in, calling OSX and *nix vastly superior to windows is an overstatement
launch Windows is a condition often experienced when buying premade computers from pretty much all retail stores and turning them on.
Then some black screen with the words Windows appears and some little bar on the bottom of the page moves to the right leading you to believe that this Windows is loading up stuff important to running your computer successfully and securely
just rewrite the onboard navigational software to have a multiton rocket moving in excess of earth's escape velocity do a 180 degree turn so it points in the right direction towards mars
with today's level of understanding of OOP and the required 49 layers of abstraction it should be as easy as baking a pie... never mind the bazillions of joules of energy wasted in reversing the momentum of a rocket
Yeah, I signed up for as many free email accounts as I could online, and would just email myself some of my documents and stored it on said email servers.
With all the storage upgrades on free email you'd be surprised how much storage one can get with about 10 email accounts
I dropped out of AI class after about 3 months because my teacher was a complete moron. It's too bad, I liked it but she made class and the topic about as painful and agonizing as trying to nail jello to your own ass.
I didn't make it to genetic algorithms

they do make a paper trail as soon as you submit your vote. it even shows you the printout
I'd mod this hilarious if I had mod points

I've seen this feature before, but I can't recall where...
yeah but does it work on lin... nevermind

technically they screwed themselves out of 4 names, but they still have 5 left to go before they have to name it entirely something other than ipod
lesson learned

I doubt 2/3 of the world knows that the internet committee(don't care which one) actually differentiates betewen (com, net, org)

the numbers speak for themselves, and until that changes, M$ still pWnS the world

I am going to be paid to shut down my
www.w*.com website
Considering everyone from slashdot just searched using their wesite, the speed has been reduced to a relaxing 4000000000 ms
A MOUSE
and is about 10 dollars
