At my college/university, I think it was 3 (females) to 1 (males) ratio back in the late 1990s/90s. Its computer science (CS) department were right next to the nursing department in the same building on the other end. They both shared the same entrances and exits. I never saw both groups talk to each other. Lots of attractive gals too. I only knew one CIS major who dated a nurse from there. Of course, me still a virgin and single as of today.:(
Yeah, my brain sparked up when inaccurate maps were mentioned. I didn't even know about that part.:( I wonder if she and her buddy were trained for survivals too.
That sucks. Was this specific map only for them or did others have this specific bad map too? I wonder what happened to those cartographers? DId they get blamed for the Eahart's accident?:(
What about Linux drivers and support? ATI/AMD is supposed to be better in this area, but I haven't seen much compared to NVIDIA's awesome driver support. What about the rest of you?
Same here. I prefer text mode for a lot of things like e-mails (Mutt; used to use Pine), Tin (newsreader), etc. People call me crazy for using these text mode clients. I don't care. Fast, more secured, etc. I am old school so bite me! Oh and I still use Zmodem to download and upload through SSH! Beat that with SFTP that has no resumes!;)
I play computer games once in a while so I still need those high end cards (not SLI/Crossfire). I really wished there was a way to make those video cards to act low power used by idling most of its features when not needed. Sure, I can swap the hardwares, but that's annoying.
Ditto. My parents signed me up for computer classes for BASIC. In sixth grade, I had a geek teacher, Mr. Mangel (is he on/.?) who taught us Apple 2 LOGO. He even had an awesome robotic turtle, like a slow plotter, that drew on big papers! That was radical/rad.:)
I still wear them. I currently wear a CASIO Databank 150. I I only use basic stuff. Nothing fancy. I'd like to get a PDA watch but they are too heavy and big for my thin wrists.:(

Chart was wrong? How did that happen? Did the mapper make an error/mistake? Someone gave her a falsified map for this disappearance happen? :(

Watch out for his throwing chairs force power!
People say I e-mail too much. I joked that e-mails become telepathic so I will spam their brains. Heheh!

Turning off machine still uses power? Geez, unplug it! That is what I do when I don't use it. Same for other electronics.
No, keep it. Use it as a movie theater, hideout, etc. :)
Dude, that's not bad. For me, it is either dial-up (3 KB/sec) or satellite. :(
And they would have backups if the account was really deleted on production.
Perfect and thank you. More pixels on my desktop! :D
Some of us are impatient and want to see them soon/right away! :P

Are we sure she is not a robot? She could be a fembot! [grin]
Is this in W7 and Vista? I was looking for it, but couldn't find it. I hated the thick borders.
Interesting and there is no way to avoid Origin with BF3 to play online. Lame! Good thing I don't play computer games anymore these days.
Is there no way to avoid this software to play the newer games in Windows? :( I want to get BF3, but now maybe I don't.
But it doesn't seem to have a calendar, calculator, stopwatch, etc. :P
So that's why no one can play Diablo 3. Blizzard is using these inexact chips on their servers! ;)
Yeah, the pads and plastic suck. I miss the old materisl, but they were big and heavy for my tiny wrists. :( I wished there were alternatives.

Ditto. I don't use my real datas. Facebook kicked me off for doing this after a couple weeks. MySpace, Friendster, etc. did not care. :(
