See this forum discussion on BroadbandReports. On my office Dell Dimension 8250, its support program (support.exe) phones home. I consider this a spyware.
Some cool SHODAN's quotes to give you the chills and flashbacks:
"Step right into my trap, little hacker!"
"Look at you hacker. A pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my corridors. How can you challenge a perfect immortal machine?"
I also have multiple physical disabilities as well. I am not a type of guy who likes to go outside to socialize with others due to my disabilities (speech and hearing are two of them).
I love the Internet. I socialize a lot more than I did in the past before I discovered BBS'.
I still have my old notebook running Windows 95 OSR2 that still works. It only has 32 MB of RAM. I mainly use it to test parallel, serial, etc. connections. That's about it. Any suggestions what I could use it for without removing and changing the hardware?
Probably too slow for the newer Linux distributions.
I would buy the DVD version since I have a DVD-ROM drive. I don't like having multiple CDs in a thick case and switching CDs during installation.
Since I got Far Cry from my AMD Athlon 64 for free, I found out it was in DVD (UK) version. I will be selling my retail CD version. I find it amusing that the DVD version that was originally for UK version.
"This malware thing is so bad," he said in a speech at the Computer History Museum here. "Now that's the one that has us really needing to jump in."
It's also a problem that has affected Gates personally. He said his home PCs have had malware, although he has personally never been affected by a virus.
"I have had malware, (adware), that crap" on some home machines, he said.

bl1st3r: Wired mentioned MirrotDot in the beginning of October 2004. See my site AQFL's story for the details.
I was actually surprised that MirroDot had a local copy of a file! 2 MB/sec was impressive.
A zip file of the first episode in DivX! Thanks MirrorDot.

See Yahoo!'s News images I saw yesterday:

What type of game is this? I cannot find any screen shots. Is it a RTS game?
See this Adelphia forum thread on BroadbandReports.com.
and it wanted my credit card number. Why? I know World of Warcraft didn't required it. I wonder if the beta will require it too.

I never did get to play co-operative play with SS2. I heard it is pretty cool. Did anyone play it?

Go here for details. Yahooligans has the episodes online. Sheesh!
Here is AMD's PR about this game. Here is Firing Squad's review with ATI cards and mentions Athlon 64 briefly.
I wonder which AMC theaters will have this. Also, it sounds like this will be a pure digitial movie so no dots, dirts, etc. :)
