    People who complain about "circular dependencies" issues are only showing what fools they are.

    Of course some packages are going to rely on each other to be installed, this is why rpm lets you install *more than one package at a time*.

    What would *your* solution be? Tossing a bunch of different software packages together into one package, just because they require each other?

    Linux distributions have enough problems without persons like yourself spreading FUD just because *you* failed to RTFM.

    These have been available for years from various companies including Senao (Yes, the popular wifi card maker), they're illegal in the USA, but they're rather popular in Australia.

    There _is_ _no_ _evil_ here, they index their own internal pages with keywords because it's not going to have sufficient links for pagerank to work normally, It's gone now, it's probably a weekly/monthly process so that searches for AdWords comes up with relevant answers.

    Geez, people love Google when they're small, then they start looking for a reason to hate them. This isn't it folks, keep looking.

    They're stuffing results for the internal search here: https://adwords.google.com/support/?hl=en_US

    All I see is people talking about how "dumb" they were to use such "obvious" cloaking techniques. Hello people, they were teaching their own search that is to be used on the adwords site. You don't tune your own internal search pages to help people find what they're looking for?

    Sounds like a lot of people upset over nothing.

    There's an old 'switch bridge' down the road from me that used to cross the river, it was shut down 10 years ago.. Mappoint and Mapquest still show it as in-use, and route across it (fun for people who actually try to follow it.. into the river)

    Google maps (properly) show it as a dead-end on both sides. Hurrah for google!

    This has already been discussed on the NANOG mailing list, the general consensus is that _this_ will be the next
    source of attacks against systems as people spoof attacks at it. (Much like smurf attacks)

    Some day people will realize the answer is to remove the vulnerable hosts that are being used as attack sources.

    No kidding, both Brian Bruns and Andrew (trelane on IRC) are script kiddies furiously trying to display a white hat.

    If in doubt, search google. This "SOSDG" is hosted on someones cable modem, yet claims to run DNSBL's used by "Hundreds of government sites including .mil and .gov"

    Seriously, does anyone even use Mandrake anymore? Fedora has it beat and doesn't have some money grubbing exclusive "club". I've found Fedora to be everything I need on the desktop, with all the above features and more. Perhaps the Mandrake developers should stop begging for money and contribute to something that has a chance.

    Please, it would be something *near* "cyberterrorism" and a danger to public safety if it were self propgating, but this relied entirely upon the studity of the
    user to not only run it, but manually propogate it to other people, which is kind of hard when it makes their system unusable after having run it.

    Another example of the DOH'S trying to justify their existance.

    In some apartments (in what I feel is a violation of FCC rules but what the FCC feels isn't) they require that you place large amounts of money down on a "deposit" just to put the dish on the porch (regardless of the fact that it might be free standing).

    I solved that problem =)
