There was a server browser, and it wasn't ALL that bad, but it could have been better.
The big problem with the aircraft was that (unless you had an UBER system) the viewdistance was too short to really make them usefull (except for helicopters, which were very hard to fly without a stick).
I love that game! But i really hate the CTF style maps floating around on multiplayer servers.
The thing that really held Flashpoint back was the lack of support for joining a game in progress.
Note: The developers are working on a sequal with MUCH better graphics and engine, but as they are no longer under codemasters they lost the Flashpoint name (beware of a Flashpoint 2 - it's an imposter). Check out: http://www.bistudio.com/games/ofaa.html
Or they could just get rid of things like ARTS and use hardware mixing. When was the last time you had a soundcard that could only play 1-4 sounds at once?
No, because the expectation is that the copy of windows you had went out with your old whitebox computer.
When you get a computer with windows on it, that version is tied to that computer. Technically you are supposed to destroy your copy(s) of that Windows along with the key. Or transfer it if you are giving it to someone.
How many idiots do you think would take windows off to save extra money, and get pissed when their brand new computer won't boot? Then they find out they need windows and go to a store, only to pay > $200 for it. ~ $400 if you want Pro.
I actually believe that god (not God, or Allah, etc) did create the world... but not as the Bible would have you believe it. He/She/It created the universe(s) and it's rules, which has led to where It all is now. Intentionally or not? Not my place to say - what matters is that things are the way they are.
Please don't flame me for my completely banannas views:)
Hey, I'm a new Sales associate in the US. They have me doing a lot of the Mobile Tech stuff (everything but warrenty work, as time allows - as I am still a sales associate). Any suggestions on getting moved to something mroe... worthwhile? Getting payed 7.70/h to fix computers while not doing normal 7.70 work is kinda depressing.
Perhaps a more attainable stepping stone is getting legislation done that requires publishers to label the box and disk with the specific name, brand, and VERSION of copy protection used.
Actually, just sitting in a tub of water with a toaster is likely not to hurt you. Only if you become the shortest path to ground (IE get out of tub). Else the power will just arc in the toaster (just where the power cord is soldered into the board)

I stand corrected

hmm, how do you go about building a legislature without people in it?
Dammit why don't we just go for anarchy and hand guns out to the citizens with free ammo on mondays?
I know the consequences, but sometimes you stop and think... shooting fucktards in the face on sight has the potential to solve a lot of issues.
You assume that he's running an OS that uses that system.
Not trying to leave digital tinder here, but that kind of assumption makes you look quite pretentious.
What? That wasn't intended as a troll. Heh, when I'm trolling you know it :D
I would agree with you.
:)

You're an idiot because you are closeminded, irrational, and overly hostile (for no apparent reason).
Ogg probably never did any harm to you, and if you don't like it you're welcome to your opinion. But expressing it in such a manner is just immature.

But gnome decapitation is one of the few true pleasures of life!
Or you could just ignore the autorouting and use it as a map showing your current location and direction...
Er, did you forget that his IP changes frequenty and his work's proxy filters dynamic DNS?
That's great if you can have your own static IP and have your machines and connection up 24/7. I know I can't...

How about a complete petition to totally ban copy protection outside of cd keys and encryption.
OK, how are the bolts rekeyed? Possible attack vector right there...
Maybe a dart with nanos suspended in a neutral fluid would work better. that way you can do it from a distance.
Well, some customer at work thought the little green USB-to-PS/2 adapter was an ethernet card.
Go figure.
True, it's not like they sell IE seperate. They have no real reason to be so die-hard about IE.
What is a content management system, and why should I care?
Seriously, i know that was trollish but what is the advantage of a CMS over intelligently organized files, directories, and links?

I think. No, I won't test it out
