Or being an idiot and using Nair to avoid dealing with a razor and blanking out for the next 5 hours in horrible pain. Felt like my skin came off with the hair.
Doesn't even matter. You can hear a normal gaming computer clear across the room. Even if you are somehow within that meter, it's still going to be MUCH quieter than usual.
Think thats interesting? Try installing a Panda brand AV on a computer that had Norton AV (the non-corporate symantech AV if you don't know) at some point in the past... system hosure (unless you hunt down and destroy the leftovers, which are hidden from explorer).
A true lossless encoder would produce the same bits in output as it recieved in input. If your "lossless" format is introducing artifacts, better make sure it compiled properly.
What about joysticks? (GOOD ones, like the origional MS Sidewinder Precision Pro)
Try playing a good flight sim (or space sim) without one. I'm looking in particular at IWar2:EoC and Freespace2.
But gamePADS? nearly worthless. Only thing better than a mouse/keyboard for gaming (except above exception:) ) is a mouse with a keyboard that has aligned keys (not the funky home-row based staggering)
If it's a Motorola, you have to delete/a/audio/TempTones.db and/a/audio/MyTones.db and restart your phone. Beware this scrambles your ringer selections, and if something is unusable you get kicked out of the settings screen. (choose a valid file in multimedia and "set as ring tone")
Ghost recon did it better. Shot in the legs? well you can't aim just as well, you limp, and breathe hard. Shot in the arms? Damn well can't shoot anything well at all. Shot in the chest? Well, can't aim good AND you breathe heavy (sometimes coughing and wheezing as well). Makes it hard to be stealthy.
"- The game expansion added new weapons that could also be used in normal maps. Said weapons were more powerfull than the ones available to players with only the original version of the game, thus meaning that those with the expansion had a built-in gameplay advantage. This is pretty much the sleaziest way to push an expansion i've ever seen in this industry."
Sounds kinda like what MS did with MechWarrior 4. For example:
I own MW4: Vengeance, and make a game for the public to join. What happens? People who bought the "mech packs" can come on into MY virgin game and use their vehicles and weapons that I, the friggin host of the game, can't.
Used to be my favorite game. Stopped playing after that one (mostly because for some reason nobody released rips on the networks)
Flash doing stuff like pandora.com seems to eat CPU when you don't use IE. 2.8ghz cpu, under IE pandora.com was using like 5%-10% CPU. Try it in firefox (the last few versions anyways, havent tried it prior to 1.5) and in my case it takes 30%-40%.
With my own media player and a proper stream that doesn't help.
Even stranger, my skin is not very sensetive.
And to the troll: i did it for a non-sexual reason, and even if I did shaving your nether regions has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
Well, the gasses in a plasma TV are at low pressure, and therefor don't need nearly as much heat to excite them to that point.
Not really. Neon signs? Plasma. Ordinairy fire? Plasma.
Basically any self-illuminating gas is in the plasma state.

Whoops.
Last time I tried to boot into single user it asked for MY password or CTRL-D to continue in normal mode.
It didn't just magically give me a root prompt.

A burning economy?
THIS is why installing/running AOL should be a federal offense.
Then write up a contract.

Strange, I used to use a set just like that (headphones now for various reasons) and I could quite clearly hear things "behind" me in games.
How far apart are the speakers? What kind of sound card?

Not everything sounds better live. Most electronica sounds like crap live.
You mean can actually try. It's one thing to have no chance, it's another to try and have everything glitchy or segfaulting on launch.
Likely blue lasers are now patented. Why not look forward and patend ultra-violet lasers used for data storage? Beat em at their own game.
You completely missed it there, friend. He was being sarcastic.
Doesn't matter. Phone antennas don't "beam" the radio, they broadcast omnidirectionally. Two phones equates to twice the radio energy between them.

I take offense to that. One of my relatives, specifically second-cousin, is a CEO, and she is one of the better people out there.
Did you install all the fonts? Take a look at winecfg or sidenet.
Am I the only one around here who is so SICK of hearing about this it makes you want to break stuff?
