I guess numbers don't matter much when they are the only EB in the entire region, as far as i know the EB here does extremely well due to them being the only one for 400km, people drive to the EB from Invermere, Creston, Radium. They don't really need to push sales of stuff because everything sells so quick there, and they are literally 100Meters from Wal-Mart and a Superstore.
I could see EB stores in cities pushing sales due to other competition.
So far what i have experienced with pre-orders is its a first come first serve basis.

I'm now expecting a call from EB to pick up CoD4, but might not be until tomorrow because they usually get their shipments a couple days later than the big city EB stores, either way its faster than the Zellers or Wal-Mart her which don't get them for another week or so (have called and checked on new releases a few times), but i have never had a problem with EB games here.
I played the first Manhunt for about a half hour and i didn't find it that fun or interesting. So how could Manhunt 2 be any better? I highly doubt it's decent, but i wasn't a fan of the Manhunt either, I prefer GTA.
I thought Wal-Mart censored all the stuff they sell, Movies, CD's and Games?
I don't shop at Wal-Mart, last CD i baught from a Wal-Mart was a Rancid album and it was full of censoring..
If they want to put hidden content in their game, they can, its their game for crying out loud, i don't think they have to give into anyones demands on violence and nudity, look at Conan for the 360 (High def titties).

People always expect the movies to be exactly like the game. Which is what bugs me,if the movie followed the exact plot outline to every detail of the game, then there is no point.
Wouldn't this give Google grounds to take Comcast to court? Maybe then they will smarten the hell up and act like an ISP should, which is offer internet access without blocking or filtering anything.
It has always gone this way, they always release a cheaper options that is more powerful a little while after the initial cards came out, this is one reason why not to buy the new cards the day they come out. I sit and wait for these deals because this week i am now buying an 8800GT so i can play Crysis on high settings while my friend with a 8800GTS 640 can only play it on medium.
I have been running Enterprise x64 since shortly after Vista came out, honestly i haven't had any compatibility problems, but then again i am a gamer. I also haven't had to reactivate, the only activation that happened was when i installed it, i don't switch hardware so fast, i make sure to upgrade my PC enough at once so i don't have to take it apart every couple weeks so it lasts me a couple years with the hardware i put in it before needing to upgrade.
Who in their right mind would downgrade to XP on a brand new high end machine with a 6400+ x2 and a Geforce 8800? That would be retarded because you wouldn't get anything out of it, instead you would be shooting yourself in the foot with a downgrade to XP instead of running Vista Enterprise/Ultimate x64.
There is a problem with Microsoft and their 360 and countries that are not the United States. They don't get the video market place, up here in Canada we don't have access to the video marketplace, and the 360 has been out the longest. Maybe Microsoft should allow netflix on the 360 so people in Canada can actually use a feature we should already have had over a year ago.

From what i know GTA 4 has an adult only rating... and it is coming to the 360 and theres no stopping it, Jericho will be out on the 360, and will be the way it was intended to be and you can bet on it, otherwise M$ would be removing the video (which itself is pretty freakin gory) and any gamer pics/themes along with it, which they havent done so that means its still coming.
Also an addition to this, CTV and Global both have their shows (the latest) available on their websites in fairly decent quality, completely Free and are available the morning after they have been aired. Maybe all stations should just do this with every show, thats another way to stop TV show piracy. CTV and Global know what they are doing, at least this way they also get ratings, and you do have commercials, but way less then on TV which is a plus.
Honestly i don't see what the problem is with downloading TV shows, i pay for every channel on satellite, i can't always watch the show when they air it and i dont have a PVR, maybe On-demand service needs to be a standard for Cable/Satellite and i bet piracy for TV shows will stop or come to a crawl.

Then there are shows that are aired in the US months before Canada, so i download them because i want to watch them when they are first aired, not months later. Maybe the stations need to pull their heads out of their butt's and wake up and realize maybe their should just air the shows globally at the same time.

Ive been using my shopvac to clean my PC's for ages, you just don't get close to the actual electronics, back when i owned a PS2 i had disc read error's sometimes due to dust in the drive and when i called Sony the rep on the phone actually suggested to use a vacuum on the drive when its open rather than compressed air because the compressed air will move the dust around more rather than get it out of the drive, and this method worked.
Im still running my launch console, and its nice now that i have and even longer warranty on my 360. I had already purchased a 1-year extended warranty through Microsoft (as i got mine from Zellers), so now the additional 3 years is kind of a good thing, i still have 2 years left then i guess. I had a 2 red light error once and I just unplugged everything for a few min and hooked it back up and running flawless since,
Though i do regularly clean my 360 but blowing compressed air into the vents and use the vacuum hose up against the vents to pull out and dust/dust bunnies that may be lurking, seems to work quite well as my 360 is actually very quiet (my PC is WAY louder with my 7 case fans). I dont plan on buying an elite either. I know quite a few people have had theirs die, and i guess that does suck to some degree, Im still happy with my choice of console, as the other 2 choices still have shit all for actual blockbuster titles.

Well from the demo, UT3 seems pretty sweet. Runs pretty smooth on my x1900.
