    Omniscience . . . not omnipotence. With omniscience . . . you don't need omnipotence. With omniscience you don't need ANY power because you know how to create (from nothing) or seize control, of any power, in any time frame, to achieve any effect.

    That only works if such things are possible. Have fun using your omniscience on nothingness if you can't actually do anything.

    Sorry, but any defense would necessarily occur after the offender already shot someone. You can't react to a situation before the initial action. Also, this proposal gives a huge advantage to the more bloodthirsty among us as most people will take a little while to decide to shoot someone vs a psycho who will have no such reservations. Not to mention that we would get to deal with people going around with legal grenades and bombs who could use them at any moment.

    I don't know about getting dizzy and all, but I will say that those cheap lawnmower wheels/bearings/mounts are unlikely to last very long if under constant horizontal forces.

    Tell that to all the linux based copiers around here. Even the dollar bill changer in one of our coke machines stops working until it is rebooted. Granted those items aren't "fixed", but replacing everything that a reboot resolves would be rather expensive.

    Interesting. I must drive the opposite of properly, as I get 24 mpg (mostly city) in my 09 manual corolla, and got the same in my old 96 integra gsr - both with 1.8 liter engines. It still beats the 11 mpg I got in my old Durango though.

    That 30 meter rule sounds pretty wise. Not too long ago in New York, a rc helicopter enthusiast managed to chop part of his own head off while trying to do stunts.

    I used to have a 74 chevy with a 454 that ran just fine with a broken alternator belt for a week. Granted that was with a 1000 cca battery.

    They've been adding fake noise for over 50 years. I was just watching the 1958 movie "Touch of Evil" and noticed when they added tire-squealing noise to a car turning on desert sand/dirt.

    I worry that there appears to be a tab on the new socket that I assume fits into the new cable. I've seen way to many mini USB ports break on phones due to that.

    The media think nerds love him, so they keep trying to market him as some sort of elite nerd. The same goes for all the other "nerd" "celebrities" - from Felicia Day to Adam Sessler / Morgan Webb to Olivia Munn.

    Dude. You need to chill out a little. Would you rather go back to the nerds portrayed in "revenge of the nerds" or all the fake uber-nerds on every NCIS / crime fighting show there is? At least these people are real.

    I thought the current obamacare program we have is due to trying to appease the party of no. Am I misremembering things? Personnally, I would have preferred a single-payer system. I just had to pay $130 for a work mandated checkup because my insurance declined to pay. Seems like a complete scam to me.
