I never realized it before, but my pc's keyboard doesn't change case on the labels either! I'm going to have to demand a new keyboard that rectifies that problem.
I work at a non-profit charity and we still have a few xp systems running. They actually run quite well until you install antivirus on them. AV is pretty much a kiss of death for any machine with 1GB of ram or less (which is why they are still running XP and not 7)
Same here, only the game that made me want a PC was Civilization. I'd never seen anything like it, and it was the first game I special ordered after getting a 486.
The problem with shopping bags isn't the mass-equivalence, it's the form. Apparently shopping bags are close to the perfect design for killing the maximum numbers of wildlife and for spreading great distances on wind and water. It's why that specific form is fixated on by researchers.
If that's the real issue, then the problem isn't the bags, the problem is people littering. Though, good luck on preventing that.
Actually, I was thinking that instead of full-on electric, train-based diesel-electric hybrid technology would make a lot of sense. I'm sure having something like the pulling power and range of a train would be all kinds of awesome in a pickup.
I recently had to replace my old Bluray player, and the $60 Samsung I got came with both wifi and all the internet Netflix/Hulu stuff. I'm having a hard time justifying ever replacing my old plasma until if/when it ever breaks.
Who's to say they will only cut border links? Maybe they've cut off some town in Alabama right now while they kill the population and we'll never even know about it.
I'm sure the people running the American auto manufacturers into the dirt over the last 50 years had nothing to do with ruining the city. Or even if they did, they were probably Democrats too.
Does it matter if they are considered the universal boogeyman if it doesn't affect them in any way?

Why does the universe have to come from nothing? What's wrong with it just always existing - much like a cycle of big bangs or whatever?
I figure the current NSA is just a result of some capitalists making it rich via contracts to the military-industrial complex.
Apparently I'm the only one to think they were taking credit for stopping zero-day malware attacks.
What are Zrocs? A quick google search pulled up sneakers, but I have a hard time imagining police officers going around in seized sneakers.
I'm not so sure large sums of cash are all that anonymous. Don't they all have serial numbers?
We've been hearing this on Slashdot for 3.5 years now and during the time bitcoin has gone from well below dollar parity, to here.
That's more due to the dollar dropping in relative value.
But how am I supposed to give billions in subsidies to corn farmers then?
I'm sure that the Democrats will find another way to give them billions.
If it was the Democrats giving billions to the farmers, then how come they all vote Republican?

I've unblocked specific sites only to be disgusted by the intrusive blinky ads to the point where I've had to block them again.
Maybe Mr. Hates "pretentious douches" thinks everyone uses Mac Pros.

Hmm. You make this item actually sound fun.

Forget MMOs as they are nothing but grindfests and try some of the other fun multiplayer games out there like Borderlands 2, DOTA 2, and Payday 2.
Or they'll just cover up the discovered aliens to keep their cushy jobs looking for evidence.
How long ago was a concept such as radio ridiculous? Some 150 years?
Solution: Diesel-Electric - just like they put in trains.
Actually, I was thinking that instead of full-on electric, train-based diesel-electric hybrid technology would make a lot of sense. I'm sure having something like the pulling power and range of a train would be all kinds of awesome in a pickup.
All they would need to do is turn off their "Man in the Middle" machines and the links would be severed. Kind of like turning off your network switch.

Extremism, tribalism and simplistic catchphrases
What's scary is those same traits seem to be at work in the US as well.
I'm sure the people running the American auto manufacturers into the dirt over the last 50 years had nothing to do with ruining the city. Or even if they did, they were probably Democrats too.
