    Maybe all the tests were done with fake 3gs cases, so that nobody would spot the new iphone. That would be very funny and disappointing if that were true.

    More likely this only affects a few people, with a lot of other haters jumping on the bandwagon.

    In Australia, 3g gets you 1gb for $30, 2gb for $40 on Optus pre-paid. I don't see this issue with most internet users though, and I have not heard of any regular users having a 1gb limit,that is bullshit.

    Still, if i only used 3g, I wouldn't want to waste it with chrome updates.

    Well, if you think about it, what he said is right. Google should concentrate on writing one OS at a time. MS didn't come out with 5 or 6 OS, they had one. They have added more over time.

    Of course, he is a fool, as he has proved many times over, but don't discount how powerful MS still are.

    You are right, but they do have some advantages designing their own chips. As talked about in the article, more general designs includes lots of blocks that Apple do not need, so they can remove those blocks. More general designs suffer because they need to support multiple companies using different applications, whereas Apple's chips will only be for low powered mobile devices, that do a subset of uses.

    Ok, you can extend this though. So you don't mind if the FBI scans all your blog entires, emails, telephone calls, etc... to decide whether or not you need help or not?

    This is a dangerous area we are stepping into. And thoughts like yours, that the police actually did something good mask the real danger here. Of living in a society where we are all monitored at all times, and weeded out when we don't fit the norm. Can you not see that?

    Apple already host a lot of stuff on a CDN, as do most companies. Doesn't really help for this sort of stuff though, getting form data, etc...

    Not better, but certainly easier. A lot of people out there will never understand the actual way things work, no matter how simple. Things like evolution, or electricity. Much easier to ascribe these things to God, and not worry about them.

    As long as you can still get to heaven, where these things don't exist, all will be ok.
