Especially don't do it if your Windows license is from MSDNAA (academic) because you only get 1 activation which is not renewable. In other words, I'm screwed. (Mac user, just have Windows for testing my web sites in IE, and no I will NEVER pay to get a copy of M$ Windows)

Well we don't do desktop replacements at my company, but we have several beastly machines running linux with VMWare ESX 3.0 with around 8-10 VMs at once on each (linux in each VM aswell). This provides us with our different test and production environments, clustering, backups if one goes down, etc. They work wonderfully.

Though I am not a part of our infrastructure team so I don't know too much more about what we do with them.

What ever happened to enjoying life with your loving family and dying a peaceful death to go to Heaven? Mr. Pizer doesn't sound like he would be a /.er so I'm sure he has a family - especially if he has money with all of the money hungry women.

I hope he is married and when he dies his wife takes him to court (because if he can be considered alive later why not sue him in the mean time) and takes all of his money that she deserved via his will.

No VB developers at the company - it is an insurrance company and all the software we write is for internal use only and some external use by agents which are done via Java webapps using struts, java, jstl, jsp, etc. All of our dev machines are using WebLogic for test deployments and for running the servers locally to track down problems but I'm not sure about the production servers - maybe WebSphere or Tomcat or something.

As far as tags go, we use a lot of JSTL and the tags that are missing or tags that wouldn't be there for things specific to our company we just write ourselves.
