    If you write video games for a living, then it is highly likely that you will feel a little safer.

    Video game manufacturers probably don't care if the guy who stole your car is arrested, but I'm sure you do...

    Actually, IAILS (I am in law school) and I believe that a professor of mine stated that you technically own a certain amount of air space above your land. I don't believe it went up to space or anything, but there was a certain distance above the land that you did own. How that relates to radio waves, I'm not sure.

    While you've clearly idenfitifed a flaw in the system, it is a system that has benefits as well. Its easy to condemn something when you only analyze one side of the issue!

    I disagree with modding your parent up. He through out an off-the-cuff comment with no reasoning. The goal here isn't to advance political views, it is to share information (at least I think, I'm probably wrong). I'm sure there is a little more to the issue than we just don't want this guy to go to jail or be executed or whatever India does. Few issues are really that simple.

    Is this really news for nerds? Sorry to complain, but I really doubt it falls under the nerd category. Since it happened 20 years ago, is it even stuff that matters? My last complaint (sorry its Friday and I want to go home) is that I don't really think that this is technology that necessarily failed. I don't know a lot about this, but most technology includes safety features to prevent failures. If human's turn them off I call that human error rather than a failure of technology. Bah!

    The problem could be that you are only getting 60FPS in single player mode. Anything lower than this will be noticeable to most people. Your framerate is certainly going to drop in any multiplayer environment.

    Man, if they thought they got a lot of lawsuits from the image archives, wait till the media giants see this one. Websites with copyrighted video will invariably be linked and the C&D letters will invariably begin flying.

    The good news is that Google is invariably prepared for this...I applaud their efforts!

    Your best bet is to leave Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and all other Microsoft programs open all the time. This not only preserves the preferred menus but allows for instant access to these crucial programs. If your system begins to run too slow, please contact your computer's manufacturer and enquire about purchasing additional RAM. :-)

    Are you closing Word in-between uses? I think that may be what you are referring to and word does not save your preference between sessions. Which in a word: SUCKS. I like preferred menus in Word, but they need to save between sessions.

    I'm gonna call Bill...now, where did I leave that number...
