Yes, it is applicable for a webserver. There was an AIAT (Formally V-Twin, now SearchKit, soon Spotlight, all the same technology) CGI Script for some webservers on Mac OS 8.
Yay. A direct and fast method for immigrating illegal aliens into the middle of the US. All that highway switching was confusing the drivers of those inhumane trucks.
I worry that if MS loses they might make yet another lame "standard" that further fractures the internet and prevents good, mostly standard compliant browsers like Safari and Firefox from rendering the majority of websites because they use some MS propriety junk.
It's bad enough ActiveX exists in the first place, imagine how much worse it can get.. or don't if you want to sleep at night.
I'm not sure I'd want to live to be 1000. Bad enough to see the fall of the Commonwealth but to actually see the Abyss take over. I just don't think I could take it.
You pay $1 for a can of coke? Sheesh. Here in the US we pay 35 cents to 65 cents with 60 cents being the norm for an individual 12 ounce can of coke out of a machine.
If you tax the provider, the provider passes the tax onto the consumer anyways. Usually this is in the form of a much higher bill or hidden fees (usually labeled as Federal something or other) which are much more than the tax they are actually being charged.
For example, this portable number thing or cell phones that recently was enacted in the US. The provider has to pay for this as a tax. Companies like Verizon actually charge the consumer much higher than they are charged to recoup (and make a profit on) the new fees. T-Mobile, on the other hand, was reported to not only eat the cost but to give current subscribers 50 extra minutes at no cost.
Thanks for the spoiler warning, you lone gunman fuck.
It's been over a year... and I didn't say which good Doctor, now did I? They have like 3.
A wise man without a shift key once said:
"hi, i have not yet seen something that was on TV like [twelve] months ago, so i will read a ton of comments about it, in the vain hope that no one will reveal anything"
I'm worried that prolonged existence of SG-1 might make it jump the shark. AFAIK, it was never supposed to exist past its 7th season but the ratings that year were so good they scrapped the plans for the movie and made it into that year's season finale (which also explains its awesomeness and why the good Doctor had to die).
SG-1 and SG:A were never meant to coexist, also why Atlantis was moved to another galaxy. The creators/writers never meant for them to show at the same time and they didn't want the easy way out whenever SG:A had a problem and just get SG-1 to fix it. I think this simultaneous rushing for two shows is also why the first half of each of the most recent seasons sucked compared to season 7.
... if I do a google image search for "goatse" I get all kinds of nasty results. Certainly those should be blocked as well. They are clearly a threat to national security.
This does seem like it was created just to fulfill that portion of the DOJ settlement. However, MS obfuscated it in an insane way so you can't even see which protocols you actually want to license. Give the reader so much data that they are overwhelmed and just give up.
Although I had assumed it was illegal to claim you could license something you don't own. Or maybe MS is licensing "their" version of the protocol. Like Kerberos. Their version isn't standard at all...
Whatever the issue is it does prove one thing... Windows' System File Restore doesn't actually work too well. I mean you can easily delete NTLDR.dll and XP won't replace it. And this test shows that windows won't replace dlls if you start deleting things en masse. I know it sounds like common knowledge but some people honestly believe that system restore on Windows is the greatest thing ever and cannot be defeated. Go figure.
DUH! Everyone knows that BSD is the safest kind of like how everyone knows the earth isn't a square (however, most of its inhabitants are) yet most people don't realized that OS X can be categorized as a BSD Variant for most intents and purposes. Apple even often makes a point to list what version of BSD any given cat is based on.
The screenshots are missing (last I checked), the site is full of spelling errors and they called it "Apple Install Shield". It being Installer.app, I guess?
Emulating a G3 at 80% might be within the realm of possibility if I was on LSD. However, saying you can do a G4 (which implies AltiVec) is just not possible. Seriously. That'd be like emulating SSE3 on a G5. Ain't gonna happen.
Indeed. I love the Brenthaven back pack bag for my 17 inch AlBook. Very nice. The only issue for me is that if I only carry the bag on one shoulder, my sternum starts to hurt an unbelievable amount. And if I stretch my arms... it cracks. My god, the PAIN!
I wouldnt say you are insane, just that you misread the PC/Mac stuff. Some apple software ends up on win32 though, like iTunes.
And I say you didn't understand. The point was incorrectly called called Office 2003 for Windows Office 2004 for windows. Same for Outlook. I was just pointing out the typos on his pages.
He keeps mentioning things like iCalendar, Office 2004 for the PC and Outlook 2004 for the PC. But I can't seem to find these anywhere? Am i going insane?
SCO sues the creators of CTSS for stealing source code. Darl McBride was heard to have remarked "We'll offer all people that download the code a cheap, $300/seat license."/got nothin'

Virus = Very Yes
Wrong Answer. The correct first post should have been the above. Hosers...
Why is it when I ask so many Halo "Fans" about Marathon, they look at me completely dumbfounded?
You know, you could just RTFA to find out. But I think that'd be asking too much.

What a lovely gift. No?

Yeah, I love Trance. Wanna fight about it?
No, it was thrown out as being stupid.

Even though it is progression, what does Saifu Keetai mean (the badge on that page)?
Cypher something?

I don't know... I don't know of a Linux vender that charges per Processor. Nor does Apple charge more for OS X server on a dual proc machine.
