    I'm shocked that no one has mentioned SOCOM 3's credit card farming^Wverification system yet, which has gotten thousands of CC numbers from SOCrack addicts* who consider their clan/friends list system the only real way to play.

    Sure, it's Zipper Interactive doing it, but (like the XCP discs) Sony publishes and "presents" the damn product. I think the fact Zipper enticed people to give them a CC and address made Sony's heads swell and set them towards the XCP route. They thought they could do anything, and they still hope to (see Top Questions, #10).

    Combine it with an Arabic<->English translator (which I'll call BADR) and you get a rather oddly-named product that has great potential in the UN, the MASTORBADR.

    Hooray for patents with specific language. That covers everything but the kitchen sink (and that too I'm sure, if you open and shut its faucet in a signal-transmitting matter, and put something in the drain to monitor the code...).

    I try to use PNGs for everything. Unlike JPEGs, PNGs can be lossless, meaning that they don't lose quality each time you save them. Internet Explorer, Mozilla, heck just about every web browser except lynx can display them just fine.

    As a small added bonus, PNG was the first W3C Recommendation (in 1996) (see the REC). It came well before their HTML 4.0 (1998). But I guess Slashdotters already knows such things... ;)

    How about focusing on some real products???

    Apparently they don't have the balls to risk real money. By enforcing their IP, they force the "offender" to pay them or risk paying more; CLI would win either way. With a real product, they might win or lose.

    So much for businesses with self-esteem...

    You've got a good point. People may not care about words like "fancy", but *turns to Google* if you're gonna make local ads, know the local culture, and don't rely on it to sell your ads, because any part of our culture you get wrong will be swiftly noticed (see parent post).

    A phone? That works? Why should I perform expensive, time-consuming testing to accomplish that, when I can instead offer random audiovisual experiences, include appealing technologies and drive competitive pricing while increasing market exposure?
