    Since parent is an Anonymous Coward, it's a bit hard to believe, but if it does have one PowerPC-like thingy controlling 7 or 8 SPEs, it will be teh h0ttz0r (if used correctly - that PS3 better have good antialiasing this time; I notice the jaggies with the PS2 and I don't like 'em).

    Looks fucking awesome, but until the WhatWG and (IMO) the W3C fully Recommend it and the other guys support it well, it's just another flashy fork tag to me, like marquee or blink. I'd love to see an FPS game ad use this to show a map demo, though.

    ...but that the power supply is as long as the distance between the console's fron and said console's back easily puts it in the running for a WTF award. Never, in my 2 decades of life, have I seen a game-console or computer power supply that long. They shouldn't be, and therefore I'll pass and wait for the "Sleeker, slimmer" version in 4 years.

    I haven't used one in months; the classes in which I use PCs let me use a USB drive too, and my PC has no floppy drive. It does have a floppy-drive-sized space, but I have a digital cam that uses the small SD cards, so I might fill that space with a card reader (or not, and buy a Dell 2405FPW with its readers, since I seem to read at least 2 more good reviews of it every day and I'd like me some flat HDness anyway).

    The title of TFA states 512MB, and (for so-called "1.44MB" floppies anyway) Mother Brain states (512 megabytes) / (1 440 kilobytes) = 364.088889 floppies, so will you still have something to do with it?

    Why would they want to distribute music more cheaply, when the expensive archaic methods can give an excuse to crank up profit margins? They're not realizing crap, just saving the PR. Or as Barret would probably tell Sony, "You don't give a damn 'bout no one but yourself!"
