Since parent is an Anonymous Coward, it's a bit hard to believe, but if it does have one PowerPC-like thingy controlling 7 or 8 SPEs, it will be teh h0ttz0r (if used correctly - that PS3 better have good antialiasing this time; I notice the jaggies with the PS2 and I don't like 'em).
(offtopic: To whoever has made post #14142136 (sqrt(2)*10000000-rounded-to-nearest integer): please reply, and congratulations. Hopefully you'll get the 31415927th too.)
In a stunning turn of events, Massachusetts state secretary of administration and finance Thomas Trimarco has revealed that Microsoft's recent efforts to make Office XML a ratified ECMA standard may indeed make the format acceptable to the government.
Looks fucking awesome, but until the WhatWG and (IMO) the W3C fully Recommend it and the other guys support it well, it's just another flashy fork tag to me, like marquee or blink. I'd love to see an FPS game ad use this to show a map demo, though.
This confirms what had been suspected from an image taken last January. And seems to point to these cryo-volcanoes as being the primary source of Saturn's E-ring.
Hilarious joke indeed. I'd probably short though with Staples and Office Depot near their 52-week highs, on a sort of share-price plateau as of this month. IANAB & TINFA* though.
...but that the power supply is as long as the distance between the console's fron and said console's back easily puts it in the running for a WTF award. Never, in my 2 decades of life, have I seen a game-console or computer power supply that long. They shouldn't be, and therefore I'll pass and wait for the "Sleeker, slimmer" version in 4 years.
I get stonage when I sniff muh staaash, maaan. I inhale some vapor and I'm, like, *sniffs CPU* whooooa...*passes out in trailer and smashes LCD with forehead*

I haven't used one in months; the classes in which I use PCs let me use a USB drive too, and my PC has no floppy drive. It does have a floppy-drive-sized space, but I have a digital cam that uses the small SD cards, so I might fill that space with a card reader (or not, and buy a Dell 2405FPW with its readers, since I seem to read at least 2 more good reviews of it every day and I'd like me some flat HDness anyway).
You forgot to try to play the Final Fantasy victory theme as part of step 4, and suddenly realize you just turned off the house's only audio player*...;)
They can spin it to their favor by saying how much they are helping business and even (bring on the WTF replies) increasing competition in small, (as you put it) bleak towns as this. Expect a (tax-deductible!) contribution to their local charities from Bill Gates too.
Why would they want to distribute music more cheaply, when the expensive archaic methods can give an excuse to crank up profit margins? They're not realizing crap, just saving the PR. Or as Barret would probably tell Sony, "You don't give a damn 'bout no one but yourself!"

Jackson didn't throw away his real nose. He made sure the doctors kept it for research like this.
Don't you remember those classic lines, "Cuz I'm thinkin' about nerve inj'ry/It don't matta if you deaf o' blind!"?
"Is that a spinal cord on your face or are you just happy to see me?"

Science fiction superstar William Shatner quickly responded to the news...

I guess that makes Homer a spoony bard then.
D'oh!

I always thought those Defense Department guys were out of this world. I never thought they were from an outer planet.
I guess you should attribute that quote to Mae Western Digital.

*I am not a broker. This is not financial advice.
I was hoping I could just install .NET on the power supply and adjust its heat with a string .
I would've thanked Microsoft for their proactive thinking.

...we might see an apology for such things soon. Then again, maybe not--they are flaunting it as of post time.
At least the monitor's hot--no wait, that was separate...

I can barely stomach the thought of gastroenteritis from my pictures, nevermind blindness.
The title of TFA states 512MB, and (for so-called "1.44MB" floppies anyway) Mother Brain states (512 megabytes) / (1 440 kilobytes) = 364.088889 floppies, so will you still have something to do with it?
If she slaps you slap her ass. They can keep their rights, they just gotta give us some hotness for a minute or two. ;)
You misspelled "if" as "once".

Damn. You win my inaugural Lifetime Parent-Post-Pwnage Award.
