With all the Windows and Internet Explorer users worldwide, Microsoft has announced that it is discontinuing support and security/vulnerability patches on older versions of Internet Explorer. Do you feel this is the most responsible decision to make, considering the impact it could have should a new exploit arise or are you banking (no pun intended) on the fact that everyone will eventually upgrade?
I'm tired of hearing about it. I'm tired of hearing about how:
a) It will revolutionize the internet.
b) Change desktop software as we know it.
c) *insert any combination of buzzword acronyms that = "save money" here*
They usually have student interns from within the district, or one roaming admin for all their schools. If they paid someone, that knew what a decent sec-pol looked like, they could have avoided this. Instead, the "admin" decided to make it easy for the teachers and this happened.
This man has the right idea. How will they prevent this? I've gambled $3 on one CDR before! Getting a $15-20 movie to re-readable media and having no more than 5-6 misburns and I'm still ahead!
