It's kind of funny how people worry like hell about their data when their lives are at risk. I guess people just take their lives for granted. Or something like that. If I lived in that area I'd probably try to evacuate - it's like "THROW THE COMPUTER IN THE DAMN TRUNK AND LET'S GO!" or something like that. Hmmm. O_o...
In general you might say these people are just bitchy and don't like being challenged by others, but, at least in this case, the wrong message might be conveyed. I think we don't really want parents taking their kids to see something that actually ends up being adult-type humor.
This probably won't succeed, or get widespread, maybe because of the lack of everyone's ability to just use "random" operating-system-type-things in the health care fields; also too much reliance on the computer systems can't be *too* good.
Hmmm, maybe like others here might've posted, the faster connections become the bigger files become, everything will probably be proportional. What's the big deal? Is it fast? Sure. But is it necessary?
Companies, fierce competition, typical rivalry. I guess; that'll hinder this. Plus, you know?Things like that wouldn't likely appeal to the common consumer. "As common as mp3?" Right.;-)

Anyone here truly surprised? Doesn't seem likely to me. With products such as windows, bill gates doesn't need to do much more than sit and pick at his ass all day. ^_^ Aside from that, though, I'm not too sure that even if Longhorn comes out in 2006, it'll be entirely bug-free, or that it will be even close to the supposed stability of Mac OS X. Well there's one thing Windows might be better than Mac at, and that's subtracting.;-)
Which might as well lead to a perfect society, a utopia, whatever. Ever read "The Giver"? Yeah. Wanting revenge is natural? Go for it. Just don't seriously hurt people in the process.
Well, what do you expect, microshaft isn't that well of a company. Seriously, though, it might be positive in certain ways; might offer users a "preview" into the look on Longhorn, or maybe a limited/smaller version of it. Who knows, microshaft can be as unpredictable as their products' stability is, I guess. -.-
Hm, I guess you can't really know at these early stages if such a product or whatever would succeed in the mass market, if it would, maybe like other people have said, it'd be overpriced. Maybe after they work out all the "kinks."
Hopefully it won't be similar to "Micro$haft" products.
=)
What's next, a Lego operating system? A Lego mobile phone? Please, what people are doing today with Legoes seems kinda stupid....

Apache did seem kinda complex when I used it a while ago, somewhat. It needs some better documentation or something like that to assist users... =-/
Flatly put: Who cares? =-/

The Internet's 35, isn't it time it got married and had kids? I mean practically everyone knows the pressure put on getting married these days. ;-)

Who'd buy a hamster for a light. I guess it's just that much more satisfying to plug in the light and get "instant gratification." ;-)
