  1. Re:Reiser4 on Linux Kernel 2.6.11 Released · · Score: 0

The only way I can really get reiser4 is with mm-sources which ati-drivers will not compile if using them and I get a lot of lockups. Or I can use the CKO patch set which I currently am using, but I don't want a lot of the patches that are included. Also reiser4 has been out of beta for a while and I have been using it since then and I have never had any problems at all.

Does anyone know when reiser4 will be included? I use it on pretty much all my partitions and to use it I have to use extremely experimental kernel patches.

This isn't really that fair, you paid for the operating system and yes there are problems with it. Most software has bugs some have security holes it is crazy to expect perfection in software even if you paid for it. Atleast now micosoft is taking the problems much more seriously now, even though it is because of all the terrible press they have been getting lately.

It doesn't ruin it at all, from what I can gather the point of the mini mac is to sell cheap computers and get more people to start to use OS X and possibly buy other products from apple. The hard drive is slow and installing a faster one does not ruin it, even if you have to take it out of the case and put it in a new one.
