  1. SCO Developer License? on SCO Licenses Now Available · · Score: 2, Interesting

This reads like a run time license only. What about a developer license as required for anyone who works with the actual OS code that they are claiming rights over.

Note, no source code license is required as Caldera opened up old versions of the source under the GPL.

IANALD - I am not a linux developer

    Dear SCO,
On Solaris systems I have coded a lot of network IO against system *.h files containing AT&T copyright notices. Some of these files include macros. Do I need an SCO source code or developer license to work with these files? Please clarify.

Well, they draw from the same sources... ...so a few similarities are inevitable!

Indeed, both productions are a hybrid of the "steampunk" adventure fiction written by Jules Verne (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea) and the modern Atlantis mythology popularized by Edgar Cayce (On Atlantis). As such, similarities are inevitable - similar sources, similar plots, similar scenes, similar characters, similar designs.

"I support product X, you need to talk to someone else. Try path 4,5,6,1,2."

Most recently had this problem trying to get support for a Sony monitor bought from Dell. While thinking about which of the options was most appropriate the system auto forwarded me. I ended up talking to someone in laptop support. After 3 more tries through the Dell support tree always following the advice of whomever I talked to, I gave up. It took me another 3 tries through the Sony support tree. 1-800 gives me -> "You are in Canada, you need to phone there". Eventually I got someone who said "Phone Tony" and gave me his number.

Why can't they transfer me to the right point. That would save my frustration. Also more often than not the options given either don't exist or lead down the wrong path so I have to try again.

What is needed is a process where once you talk to someone you can be forwarded to the front of other queues. And that there are designated people to sort out lost souls who can't get to the right place.

Optionally, you can upgrade to access more premium channels, such as your customized portfolio, local weather, pollen count, or IM buddy watch. Item might not be a strong enough word, though, because really Mary's got the same good-natured busting of Peter's chops and ability to see what he can't that I'd expect from a married couple. Clearly, these two complement one another, and I love that Mary Jane in the Ultimate universe has been gifted with a sarcastic sense of humor that can match Peter's, as well as brains that make her more than just "the hero's girl."
