I think I saw that happen to a dude on UFC then he tapped out with his remaining arm.

  4. I think Apple will beat Google on Apple to Offer MGM Movies · · Score: 3, Insightful

In the war of online video, I believe rights to media will beat out youtube.com Now YouTube will have it's uses, but for distrobution of movies and television, gaining the rights is the way to go. I think there is more profit in movies and television than there is with YouTube.

  11. My idea for a cell phone. Someone steal it on Dvorak to Apple - Stop The iPhone · · Score: 4, Interesting

The phone has GPS. The GPS continually updates every minute and stores in cache on phone. Every so many hours, its uploaded to your home account so you can review where you were the days before. It also has a 1 touch blog. You can then record voice/text/pictures/video to your site and it will be formatted nicely. You can let family members or friends view this website. It would be a living diary for you, and would take no effort. Just 1 button and all the complex web work is done automatically. Hey and if someone wants to implement this, maybe you can hire me :)

  16. How about: Environmental? on Morality — Biological or Philosophical? · · Score: 2, Insightful

If you introduce a new dog into your house, they may either play fight or real fight each other. Then the result is one is more dominant than the other. It wasn't biological who taught one was superior over the other, aside from size, but enviornmental: Who won the last big fight. Now with humans, it is much more complex, a person's entire life determines if they're going to become an A student and get a white collar job, or if they're going to go for what seems to be easy money by slinging drugs. Not everyone studies philosophy, but everyone has a philosophy.

  17. It's biblical too on How to Turn A Music Lover to Piracy · · Score: 1

When they stopped paying the temple musicians, they went back home to provide for themselves. So they brought them all back and insisted they got paid so there would be music for the temple.

Now the funny part is that most commercial music sucks badly, and I wouldn't miss it if it died off completely. I'm sure there would be people creating music for other reasons that just money. There's lots of reasons to make music other than just money. I'm just saying that people were being paid for music before Edison's invention, and the musicians gave up and quit when they weren't being paid.

Should YouTube be responsible for it's user's material? Viacom says yes. Viacom doesn't want to get into the buisness of tracking down users individually.

Now is Google supposed to rat out offenders minimally? Or is Google supposed to become the user generated content police themselves? If they are, it sets a bad prescedent for all text forums online in that the moderator will have to make sure the posters aren't posting something copywrighted. I won't get into draconian measures an oppressive government has on free speech, even though it does tie in.
