    The main advantage that Holywood would have is a pratically absent distribution cost.
    They can encrypt their movies with WMA then distribute that, people could preload their movie whilst at work then unloack the films they want to watch. And the price of the media should trickle down to the consumer. Otherwise paying £10 for a movie when i can get a hard copy on DVD is pretty useless.
    Maybe some kind of log in system would work, where you can only watch one movie at a time, and you are charged per view. Maybe than would give Holywood and excuse to make movies you want to watch more than once.

    Who idea was to use cyrillic character where theres and exactly identicaly non-cyrillic character on the ascii set. They just decided to stick cyrillic characters in a totally seperated grid rather than adding the additional characters form the cyrillic.

    The question would be, is Sony happy with this? The actual gist of the idea, is that they would have less trouble with Beginning Of Line products, and the factories could close shop once the production had gained some steam. Then when it is available in the stores there's enough for everyone, and the fanboys who are silly enough to fly to Japan or a USA factory somewhere are happy too.

    SGI probably went thru all the proper channels to innovate, and were crushed by other more wealthy opponents, they did invent OpenGL and fantastic 3d hardware. But prending time and money on patents may just keep them afloat. but hopefully they wont just troll but start innovating again from the ashes.

    Thats pretty interesting, I got Guild Wars because of the free online subscription but didnt get the expansion pack. either the hardcore gamers will move to BC or stop playing because all the action is in the expansion pack and they dont have it.
