And hjkl is great. You can edit and move without moving your hands. Tough to get used to though. I just visualized hl as left and right arrows (obvious). for up and down, the first thing you're going to do in a file is move down, and like a good little typist, your index finger should be on j, which is the easiest to find, and easiest to manipulate(??). *shrug* That's what worked for me.

I am writing to inform you that I was very excited about the release of your title, "Spore". I was anticipating the release and planed on buying it as soon as it arrived in stores. However, after reading several articles about the DRM system I will no longer be purchasing your product, as I think DRM is a violation of my rights as a consumer.

I grow weary of this argument.

The point is the code *IS* available and people *DO* go through it. You're right. I'm sure very few people go through every LOC for EVERY software component in their distro, but many people go through all the little parts. 'Oh no!' you exclaim. 'What if the distro changes it down stream to be evil!?!' Well then, use md5 sums if you are that paranoid.

Also, please show me a documented case of malware, spyware or other malicious features "hidden" in a FOSS project. There may be some, I'm not sure. I can say with confidence, however, that for every one on the open side(if you should find one), there are several on the close side. I'd make a bet it would be a hell of a lot easier to uninstall as well.
