Wow, whatever you smoke must be great stuff!
First of all, if you ARE American...you are a Republic NOT a democracy get it right. Democracy may not be an incompatable world view but a basic human right?
Could someone plese explain to me why democracy is so farking good? All it means is that the a$$hole that steals from you...you got to vote into power. News flash, every government is corrupt and will bend you over and have its way with you be it democratic, communist, republic or monarchy. Grow up and join the real world. Its messy and then you die.
Or I could just be having a really really shitty day... *shrug* your call.

Deanna will travel back in time to set an insidious series of events in place that will ripple through the very fabric of space-time...and make sure she doesn't marry that slut poindexter with a beard Riker! All she has to do is jetison some drive plasma, reverse polarity on the intake valve and say three times "He is an ass, what was I thinking?"

I was just happy to see Kirk die myself. Anyone notice that since Roddenberry died Trek just doesn't know what to do with itself. That was after TNG ended and before Undiscovered Country i think. I mean Nemesis? What the hell was that? Berman and Braga couldn't find a good plot if someone from the future time travelled back and gave it to em.

Christianity...ah no. Roman Catholicism, sure. Don't get the two confused, they are very different faiths. The Christian belives in salvation by faith alone, the Catholic doctrines (councils, specifically Vatican II) as are still written would still burn a Christian for that single belief. Don't know what Hilter said that he was and don't really care, he wasn't a Christian by any reasonable standard. Bush...Catholic. Inquisitions...very Catholic. I'm not saying that Christians(anity) are blameless but your examples don't fly.

I agree completely. We should start with mandatory execution of ALL violent offenders. That would leave much more room for non-violent criminals. Thank you so much for making the suggestion!

I don't know about how well known this is but Canada has a national system called Interac. It provides access to your account via card and its been around for years. I think the US is getting a similar service with Visa and Mastercard Debit cards.

I only handle cash for stuff under $1, the rest of the time I just use the Interac card from my bank. Makes going to the US wierd cause I have to carry paper money. Canada is, in a practical sense, very close to cashless though I admit nobody has tried to landmark a RFID chip with a 666 tattoo...yet.

Excellent replies have already been made here. I would just like to add that NASA itself benefited greatly from German WWII research into rocketry and had several German researchers/scientists assist US programs. While we are at it credit should be given to the Chineese who quite probably did the actual original research into rocketry via fireworks. NASA is also standing on the shoulders of giants. They can learn a thing from Scaled and their results (IMHO)
