There are a lot of us out there who both do and do not work for Sun.

Well obviously they have been working hard, since their brain cells have been overworked, causing them to produce Zen sentences like this.

No way, dude!. I couldn't tell that from the previous 2 movies!!

Perhaps the lack of computer effects was the reason why the original 3 movies were so successful.

I've always wondered...when a site is slashdotted, it implies that the site has been hit by high referrals from slashdot, causing it to become slow or go down totally.

But how does slashdot itself cope with the high traffic?

As an American I've been wondering for a while why your government pretty much does whatever we tell them to do, without any sort of problems with resentment, national pride, or even seemingly rational thought.

Because if they didn't, Australia will probably be labelled as an "Axis of Evil", and soon America will start accusing Australians of hiding WMDs in Kangarros. =P

I can never see an American being extridited to Australia for an alleged crime, who has never actually been to Australia.

There are licensing issues when you use a cross-platform toolkit like Qt. Qt isn't free for Windows. There's also the issue of flexibility when you use a packaged API. Google could have started out just licensing Yahoo!'s existing search technology at the time. It would have saved developmental costs, but would it have made them as successful as they are today?
