Don't worry, it can be stabilized with a concentrated tachyon particle stream from the main deflector dish. Everyone knows that....Oh you might need to reroute power from the aft shields but that's fine.
I'm an Australian working and living in Vietnam and the piracy rate there is hardly surprising.
I was working with a bunch of networks guys a month or so ago and the subject of salary came up. These guys were on $100USD per month. They were university graduates with industry certifications working as IT professionals on 100 bucks per month!
Now who in the "Developed" world could afford to pay multiple months salary for software.
I bought the Tiger family license the other day for $200. The distributor had to order it in specially and as I was waiting in the office I was tended to by 3 people. It was like I was buying a BMW or something.
Piracy in the developing world is totally different to the developed world. When they talk about "lost revenue" in places like Vietnam they are seriously kidding themselves. The revenue has to "be there" to "be lost".
BUT I had a problem earlier with a grinding noise in the hard-disk area on my powerbook.
Turned out to be that the hard disk was faulty.
IDE type Hard drives have an area of space reserved for "reallocating" bad sectors. If your disk is really bad this area will fill up. When there is no more space left to reallocate to you will get a SMART error.
Click on "About this Mac", click "more info" and select your drive from the ATA section. You will see the SMART status there.
If you get this then you need to replace the drive.
I ended up replacing my drive with a 7200RPM Momentus - MAN I'm happy the old one died now!
I think what is implied by the parent but not quite picked up here is that with a bit of thinking the ads might become something that the target viewer may WANT to watch.
Are you on drugs I hear you ask? Who wants to watch ads?
If your target audience are geeks who download star trek torrents how many do you think would watch an ad featuring a scantily-clad Jolene Blalock advertising the latest FHM magazine. I think they may even be ripping the AD out to watch on repeat. Come on, you would not need any hi tech gadgetry, just make ads entertaining to the target audience.
Maybe they could do a trilogy of prequels. Unfortunately a trilogy would be best started on an even number so that two of the three would be good.
Or maybe that could make it a real prequel before spaceflight. It will be called simply "Trek".
A pistol holster and clip for his whip on either side of the walking-frame...
"People who choose their jobs carefully are more likely to be satisfied with them than those who take a flying leap into the great unknown"
Interesting - I think humanity however is better served by those willing to take the leap....
Having "nothing to hide" is the real problem....
What, and the machine operators are supposed to become more vigilant and effective while watching this peep-show?
but it wouldn't make my top 100 list of top 100 lists.
.... I bet he has some cool stories about Steve Jobs!
There's no way Bender would go for open source anything - he wants the cash!
Ohh BLENDER, sorry my mistake.

If you're so tired of it what's with the R2D2 impression in the title of your post?
"The MPA was formed in 1945 in the aftermath of World War II to reestablish Americanfilms in the world market..."
Sounds to me like there job is finished, all this bullying P2P users is an excuse for their continued existence!
The torrent of the movie was available before release.
When the movie was released it made more money in the first day than any movie EVER.
Therefore IF bit torrent had an impact on the sales of the movie THEN it was a positive one.
Actually in present day Russia you can still download from a publicly known, centralized server!

The Tandy TRS-80 model II never really took off either.

Yay! I knew there was a good reason for a separate system partition.
Saves on system volume reindex time.
Phew, now I can justify my partitioning fetish again - thanks Tiger!
Correct. The best thing to do is gather those bits in a plastic bag and sprinkle them on your new drive when you get it.
Go to Disk Utility and click "Import left over bits from plastic bag"
I installed 10.4.1 update without incident.

Longhorn users won't need this.

Imagine releasing anti-virus software on the eve of launching the "most secure version of windows ever".
With MS-AV it will be even MORE most secure.
Hmmm,

I was ridiculing the idea that choosing a name is "IP".
Trademark maybe, IP, I don't think so.
I think if you are going to trade with something as common as "Apple" "Tiger" or "Windows" then you should EXPECT it to be used all over the place.
Come up with something unique like "iPod" or "Coca-cola" if you want to be able to trademark something.
The whole idea of being able to trademark common use terms is stupid.
IP rights? To the name "Tiger"?
Right.
Hey, don't underestimate the number of Apple fan boys who bring Apple into every discussion (fucking or otherwise).
Lets call it the Fan Boy Index (FBI) it's got to be at least as useful a metric as "marketshare" or "downloads" phhht.
PS Apple Rules because it looks cool and it's Unix as well!

I remember thinking in the 80s that Bill's haircut was not sustainable, yet here we are over 20 years later...
Really?

They did not want this but they HAD to in order to get the RIAA and it's members on board with iTMS.
