The PSP should have no region lock-out, so importing might not be such a bad idea. Japan always gets the best games first anyway.
I think Lik-Sang has a deal on it, plus games.
Camera phones won't really become worthwhile until they can intergrate a decent optical lens into them. The digital zoom features that most of them have are horribly inadequate.
It's sad we're so far behind the curve. Japanese consumers already have 3MP camera phones, in Korea Samsung just released a 5MP camera phone.
This is kinda scary, at least with Kazaa and most other file sharing techs, you could set your share level to minimal, and still get decent downloads.
But Bittorrent is setup in a "give what you get" fashion. The slower your upload, the slower your download gets. Best way to get super-fast uploads is set your upload to max.

well that's kinda neat. But if anyone was going to do something like this, I would think it would be the printing companies like HP or Lexmark. The more ink used, means more business for them right?
Will there ever be software released that doesn't have flaws or bugs, or is that just utterly impossible?
Even the Mozilla foundation has vulnerability and bug problems, and they have some of the best coders out there.
Google seemed to do pretty well, except for that whole investigation thing that is going on with them.
Not sure what happened with that, anyone know? Sorry to be off topic. I like random posts.
But how long until I can watch TV on my cell phone? Ipods and PVPs are great, but I'd love to be able to catch up on sports news or watch a show or two during my morning commute.
Can u feel me?
I switched over from AT&T to Verizon about 6 months ago, just before the merger was announced. Back then AT&T service was horrible here in NJ, I constantly had low signal and dropped calles.
This merger should make Cingular the largerst cellular phone provider, but I'll have to wait and see if the service gets any better. I have Verizon now and love the service, but the prices are highway robbery.
If Cingular can offer the same service as AT&T at a lower price, I see a lot of people switching over.
I'm probably going to be right out there with the rest of you picking this up, am I the only one that's a bit concerned about seeing all the parents buying the game for their kids?
Supposedly the ESRB stuff is supposed to stop retailers from selling the game to people under 18, but I know that many parents don't have the time or the willpower to look into what media their children consume. And I know this series gets pretty bad, with things like picking up prostitutes, car theft, and massacre being rewarded in what some have termed a "pornography of violence".
Microsoft cheated and lied?? No way, who didn't see that one coming.
They'll do anything to stay profitable. The greed of coporate America and no bounds.
I'm not surprised to see that Rutgers isn't even listed in the rankings.
That school always was cheap when it came to technology spending. Even now the liabraries still have computer running Pentium I processors.
For shame...
An H2O molecule is an H2O molecule, is an H2O molecule. If the water is truly purified (A chemical/spectral/whatever analysis can find that out) it really doesn't matter. Should I remind people that the water they drink is pumped from rivers, lakes, and wells where animals (submarine and above ground) piss in it all the time? With a well, nature filters it out using the soil. Other methods require us to perform filtering to clean the water and remove any pollutants we added.
Last thing people want is to buy their favorite game and have a ton of spy-ware installed on their comps.
The first company who does this, I hope their game totally bombs.
This has some serious potential. But I have an ipod now, if there was only some way to intergrate this into the ipods body, it would make an awesome combo.
40 Gigs of MP3's and satelite radio, I would pay $400 for that!
Nasa's current difficulties arise from scattered teams that all only check their parts rather than having fully qualified teams that go over the entire vehical. The fact that the whole thing is usually designed by committee and in several pieces then assembled at the last minute probally helps facilitate error. The Saturn V rockets and other technology we used to land on the moon had hte capability of being far less relyable than today's technology but we still managed to use them for years without error.
That's a scary thougt indeed. Any OS made for cars will have to be 100% rock-solid, and will most likely be an imbedded OS. So as to avoid the likely-hood of a catastrophic software crash while crusing on the highway doing 80 mph.
Still, I wouldn't want it in my car, that's for sure.

So I can make a hologram of me cooking chinese, then just order take-out. The wifey will never know.

The film will open Nov 4th? Wasn't that yesterday? So it's in theatres already I"m assuming. The trailer should have been out weeks ago!
Isn't this an easy way for the hackers to get caught. How do they expect to get their money??

You can find just about anything on eBay. Not if they'd only start selling some good freebase. LOL
but how crash proof is the system? And does it leave a paper trail?? That's what I want to know.

This thing is $500! That's outrageous for a portable video players. Other companies sell similar products for less than $350.00

that AMD wasn't the first, but they're Athlon line is really top notch. I have two already, and I recommend it to everyone I know.

The link is down. The new protocol should help keep the internet running efficiently for the next decade or so.
