I just watched that one again yesterday. I loved that intro, because I knew that the movie would totally go against all that was said in that sentence.
I agree. I liked the first Eee netbook. I was looking forward to seeing it's next iteration and perhaps picking one up...but now I'm totally thrown off by the gazillion different configurations for the new netbooks alone, let alone all the garbage they decided to slap the Eee name on. Sorry Asus, you're not getting an Eee purchase off me anymore.
Erm, the tilt sensor isn't that precise and controls will be ridiculous to get right. I really fail to see how people consider the iPhone to be a good gaming platform; it'll be good for casual games, but I don't see anything beyond that. Tilting the screen left and right makes it difficult to see the screen. 'Touch' buttons are difficult to find/hit in a game.
From wikipedia: "As of 2007, Craigslist operates with a staff of 24 people.[2] Its sole source of revenue is paid job ads in select cities ($75 per ad for the San Francisco Bay Area; $25 per ad for New York, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Seattle, Washington D.C., Chicago and recently Portland, Oregon) and paid broker apartment listings in New York City ($10 per ad)."
Wow, modded troll for taking a stance against silliness? If Microsoft did this, everyone here would think this is a lame attempt at getting free advertising, which it is.
It's sad to see that an announcement for a fully released product is pigeon-holed inside a story about a possible release next week. Was it too much to ask for a separate story for Opera's release?
I don't think the series needs a 'fresh start'. I still remember playing Sands of Time. It hasn't been that long ago since this current series was 'refreshed', so I don't really think it needs another one.
I mean, this game could easily have been the same game as it is now but with a different name other than 'Prince of Persia'.
Microsoft does have a habit of patenting obvious ideas so patent trolls don't get them and sue everyone around them.
But of course, this is Slashdot, so let's all yell at Microsoft before they do anything. The real culprit here is the patent office: who the heck approved this?
Erm, that was pretty much corrected the same day it was reported on. Clearly it was an error by some programmer somewhere that has been fixed, but of course, you can continue trolling.
And I certainly couldn't justify spending $1000 more on a document handling laptop just so I can run Vista vs XP
I can get an $800 laptop that can fully run Vista (not just 'capable').

BioShock?
On the other hand, when you're comparing your economy to that of Zimbabwe, you know your economy is in the crapper.

a ) Xbox, Zune et al barely make money. Microsoft's bread and butter is Windows and Office. b ) So why does Opera stomp Firefox then?
Wow, modded troll for taking a stance against silliness? If Microsoft did this, everyone here would think this is a lame attempt at getting free advertising, which it is.
I for one will not be downloading Firefox 3 until this record attempt is over. I think it's just plain silly.
It does also sync your notes and your personal bar.

I already submitted a story today. We'll see how that goes.
Apple dominates the high end? Since when?
I'm surprised no one mentioned BioShock yet.
I have that button hidden since I don't use hotmail ;)
I have my default browser as Opera. Clicking on a link in a Messenger window opens it in Opera.

So if Rizwaan changes his name to Winston he is no longer a terrorist? Gotcha.

More importantly, where on earth do you live that a movie ticket is $7.50?

Where can one find these drivers or info about them? I have an Audigy 2

Yes. I will no longer buy any sound-cards from Creative. That's the only way they'll learn.
Couldn't you read the article?
