They mentioned in the article that he was 60 miles from the epicenter and had to sleep in the park for a few days afterwards, until the aftershocks subsided.
the $279.99 'Arcade' bundle, which bore all similar markings as the new models, and was tagged 'Go Play'... As yet, Microsoft has not officially announced the bundle, but all signs point to its imminent arrival.
I work in retail, and our internal electronics related messaging system had an announcement that the xbox arcade was slated for release like 0ct 23rd or something, stores would be receiving them shortly.
That article had absolutely nothing to do with how to meet women... All it was was an anecdote from some dude about how he knew this guys whose friend's fiance sent some half naked pictures in return for access to the beta for WoW.
Well, I'm not sure if the 8xx.xxx reference is to my number 818387, but if it is, I don't know why it's not displayed. Second, I figure that I read this site enough, so I might as well contribute a little dough to them. I suspect more than few others could stand to do the same.
What do you think the odds are of some cell phones makers starting to introduce a simplified interface for this? That might be a possibility for Google to make some money, partnering with makers to slap the Goole trademark on their phones. Normally someone might have to pay to put their label or trademark on someone else's product, but with Google's name-brand recognition...
If you look at all the new programs they've been putting out lately, the deskbar, the toolbar, the new Gmail Notifier etc. and realize that all that stuff could be very usefully integrated into a web browser... not to mention some of the stuff floating around in their Labs section. I suspect that's not the last word we'll here on a new browser.
I wonder how they're planning on consoling the person who wins, if it turns out that he/she won't be able to survive the trip? Sounds like a legal nightmare any way you look at it.
I like their Google Labs idea. It's a great way to show the employees that they're supporting them, and at the same time allows them to stimulate the engineers creativity, probably helping to reduce burn-out rates as well.
Maybe this will make the HR types that go trawling through facebook profiles and such think twice before judging so quickly.

Is that 28,140 years old or are they getting around light speed some how?

Did you read the first line of the original post? He said that he recognized emulation but this is for the folks who don't want to do that.

I can't wait to see the in-depth comparisons between Doom 3 and Half-Life 2's graphics. Five bucks says my system won't run it ;)

When a game kicks as much ass as Sam and Max did, of course people will be waiting for it.
