I fly a lot and never see anyone in the Clear lanes. A better tip is to fly one airline, make status, and then you can typically get a priority lane for free at major airports.
I get to use priority lanes now at more airports than even have Clear and it didn't cost me a dime.
Just my thoughts on it though and the rest of your post is spot on.
It can be much better though too. In downtown San Francisco I've had it pretty much nail the corner I'm standing on. At home in NC though it tends to give me the general area of my house.
It seems that when it can combine the Cell and WiFi scan results that accuracy picks up greatly. WIthout WiFi you only get the wider approximations of location.
As a previous poster pointed out though, it tends to give a close enough approximation that you can use it.
Press Command-Tab to bring up the app switcher. Press it again and see how the reticle moves to the right.
While you STILL have the app switcher open, press Command-Tilde and see how it moves to the left.
Command-Tab brings it up and moves to the right. After it is open, Command-Tilde moves it to the left. This way you can quickly select the app you want.
Technically though we are both wrong as it's actually Command-` according to the docs.
My favorite function of the app switcher though is that a single press of Command-Tab will jump back and forth between the last two apps I had active.
Yeah, I used a 660AV for years and years and never had a bit of trouble out of it. The GeoPort Telcom adaptor worked fine as a 14.4 modem too. Better in fact than the 1st gen PPC 601 hardware since it used the DSP to do the modulation and not a software modem.
BootCamp has nothing to do with the BIOS emulation. That was added with an EFI update to early Intel Macs and has been included ever since.
All the BootCamp utility does is provide a GUI to diskutil resizeDisk and burn a CD of drivers from a DMG that is inside the application package. You can just partition your disk with Disk Utility and install Windows. With Leopard now you can just pop the install DVD in for the Windows drivers and re-partition your disk non-destructively as well with Disk Utility.
Tell me what online games the Wii has except for SNES titles. Is that innovation?
Well it has NES, N64, Genesis, TG-16, TG-16 CD, and NeoGeo games too. They aren't "rehashes" but ROMs you can download to play in an emulator. It's a fairly innovative service in that the publishers have been terrified of emu in the past. I just downloaded Sin and Punishment for N64 as in import game from the store. As it was never released in the US this is an easy way to play a great hidden gem for the N64.
Next year the Wii Ware part of the store is going to feature original content from publishers as well. That sounds like it will be more to your liking.

I would think that if the FW update fixes things in a flagship game that Sony would be yelling it from the rooftops.
The Wii remote can do one-to-one motion mapping in 3d space. Look at the bat in Wii sports for an example. When you are ready to swing you can waggle it above your shoulder and the motion is mapped to your on-screen character. Metroid has some motion mapping controls as well when interacting with controls in the game. Your hand is Samus's hand and the control is one-to-one analog.
Also see ExciteTruck. The remote is used sideways and maps two axis of motion to control steering and the attitude of the truck in the air.
Without a doubt, in my mind at least, the four Panzer Dragoon games represent some of the finest gaming ever. I remember playing Panzer Dragoon Zwei for the first time and just being struck by the cinemas and the story that they managed to weave. Zwei is a good example of a game that shows a great amount of artistry for people that don't think games can qualify as art.
At least part of my affection for Rez comes from the fact that it's much like Panzer Dragoon stuffed into a crack pipe.
And the included IBM software is really very useful (like Active Protection System for your hard drives)
Actually Apple has had a similar system on its portables for a few years now as well.
Likewise Wario Ware seems like nothing but a giant controller gimmick. You do tons of rapid fire mini games (about 3 seconds a piece) that involve just figuring out what kind of motion they want you to make with the controller. You do it right, you win, do it wrong you lose. These are punctuated by extremely strange sound effects and visuals. Regardless, it doesn't seem like any real attempt to use the controller in an innovate way, just various gimmicks.
I'm assuming you've never played any of the other WarioWare games. They all play like that with the respective controllers of each system. It's nothing new to the Wii.
So except for the plot and all the graphics it's the same game? That seems a stretch...
I agree that it's fanservice, but it's fanservice for one of the greatest games ever created.
I bet the Treasure fans would have something to say about the best SHUMP ever claim, but I remember waiting eagerly for the Silpheed to be released on SegaCD . I kept calling the gamestore to see if the shipment had come in and then took a long lunch from work to go and pick it up. At the time the intro cinema was amazing and the streaming set pieces in the actual game are still cool for SegaCD.

Command-Tilde makes the app switcher run the other way and is easy to hit.
Hmmm... There is no Apple Store in Cupertino. There was a reseller across the street for a while but I think it's gone now.
The Company Store is on the main campus, but that's a very different thing from the rest of the Apple Retail stores.

This changes in E2K7 and you will need to purchase the MUA agents separately...

I'm sure I won't be the only one, but on first read I thought the summary was about an appliance company.
Took me a second to realize my mistake.
When I fly I put my iPhone in Airplane Mode.
Eh. OK. So I missed it the first time, but I did stop reading right away when I saw specifics. Sorry about jumping the gun there...
Hey! How about a spoiler warning on there?

That the Wii outsold the DS. The DS has been the king in all territories for a long time now...

I might need to dig it out and play...
You are wondering this about Duke? That's a bit like wondering how all the kids in Skull and Bones can afford such a nice yacht...
If they would only employ the Utopian method of raising rabbits they would have no need for such a computer...
To me the best version is still the Sega CD one...
