Why do you exclude most smart phones? I would think that most people would consider an iphone to be a smartphone or at least similar to it. When they see an ad claiming Ours gets the WHOLE Internet!!! they are likely to walk away thinking that the iphone shows the net better than other similar phones. What parts of the internet can people access on iphones that they can't on other similar phones? This is a genuine question as I haven't done any surfing on phones before. I did have a PDA a while back with internet access and I was able to get to pretty near anything...although back in those days there wasn't as much multimedia out there anyway.
Does the iphone really display so much more of the web than the rest of the phone market?
I saw an interview of him talking about it not too long ago. He was laughing about it. My guess at the time was that he made it up as a joke. It didn't sound like he was being serious. Maybe his boss really did joke with him about it and he passed it on. Or maybe someone in the PR department suggested he mention it. I don't think Nintendo has any intention of enforcing it. What are they going to do if he tells his friends about a new hobby he's picked up? Fire him? At best, they politely asked that he keep a particular hobby under wraps from everyone until their latest game is finished.
You're right, they couldn't enforce anything like that in the broader way that you're stating. I'm pretty sure Nintendo already knows this.
My guess is that his customers are calling Aspect and not him. Rather than have Aspect call him when a call comes, Aspect calls at the beginning of the day and stays in a phone call with him all the time. When Aspect gets a call for him it sends a message to his phone (whispering, "You've got a call"). Well, he doesn't want to be listening in to this Aspect call constantly waiting for some message. He wants to listen to music in the mean time. But he also doesn't want to miss that message when it comes.
I agree that it could have been described better. I think what he wanted was fairly clear...but the why was confusing. Now he's getting frustrated because people are suggesting he doesn't need what he knows he needs. They are just trying to be helpful and working with the best knowledge they have but he wishes they would just accept that he needs a solution to do X rather than assume he wants to do X only so he can do Z and describe how he can bypass X altogether.
Or maybe that means that 3% have already bought, 1% are planning to buy by year end, and 23% are undecided. You are making assumptions on the remaining available options. From the first two options I'm unsure what I'd fall into. I would probably buy it if the price got cheap enough...but I'm not sure whether I expect the price to get cheap enough by 2009 or ever. Perhaps by the time it got cheap enough something better will come along...so it's possible that I'm not going ever going to buy. I really don't know. Depending on how it was worded I could see myself answering in a number of different ways.
Oh, that's right. They wanted to capitalize on the similarity to the Scrabble name. Of course now that it's already gotten a following as well as additional press they can feel free to change their name.
Also, for all those that say hasbro should have bought them out or hired them or whatever, how do you know they didn't make offers first? I'm sure those kinds of things they'd like to keep under wraps and not publicly disclose them.
If he went off topic then so did the article summary.
"All of us have one time or another been completely frustrated by certain Windows usability issues, and in many cases our experiences have driven many us over to Linux, or kept us there.
How is it off topic to reply that Linux has similar problems?
unfortunately this doesn't work in Opera.
By default, going to gmail in opera takes you to their older version. If you bypass that by using the nocheckbrowser thing in the url, there is no scroll bar in the contacts list...so you can see the first few...but that's it.
Changes were made, sure. But my understanding was that the founder of EST, Erhard was trained in scientology early on and then used some of the concepts in his trainings later on.
Bartley (Erhard's first biographer) characterized Scientology as one of the "major steps" in the development of Erhard's "independent training", stating that "Werner encouraged his whole staff to take the Scientology communication course, and hired Peter Monk to help train them."[1] Pressman reports that: "all est consultants had received extensive training in the Scientology practice of confessional auditing sessions."[35] According to Stark and Bainbridge's The Future of Religion, Erhard hired two Scientologists to specifically adapt Scientology practices for his own usage.[36] Simon Evans describes Erhard as a "Scientology renegade".[37]
Scientology has a number of breakaway "sects" such as Landmark Education, Impact Trainings, etc. I don't think any of them claim Ron was islamic, though.
But won't the most likely scenario be that the person who steals your computer will immediately be confused by Ubuntu and just reformat the drive and install windows? How many thiefs are familiar with Ubuntu?
At first, the photo application revealed only a smoky room and an empty chair, Mr. Jackson said, but then a man sat down. Ms. Duplaga, again using remote technology, typed in the command to snap a photo. When you take a picture with that computer, it shows a countdown, and when it does, this guy figures out whats going on, Mr. Jackson said. It all clicks for him, and he puts his hand up to cover the lens, but it was too late. She had already taken the picture.
If she could see him, why would she need to use the software to take a snapshot? Don't apple computers have Prnt Scrn or an equivalent button?
Just because Brownback is ultra conservative does not mean he's fine with willy nilly eletronic monitoring to "protect our freedoms"
Why don't you read what Brownback has said about Bush's wiretapping? Maybe it'll cheer up that depression of yours just a bit.
How many FPS faster can you get by a $90 more expensive CPU, video card, RAM etc? My guess is a lot more than 5 fps unless you already have a top of the line CPU, video card, etc.
Yes, and it won't surprise me if 90 days after the last of the coupons are mailed out there is a price drop on converter boxes by a significant amount.
Slashdotted record?

Don't know about the police but Spider-Man has been doing this for years.

Don't want to get thrown off roofs? Don't go on roofs where people might throw you off.
I agree that these idiots shouldn't have emailed the stuff they did. That doesn't justify the response.

There's still George B. for a little bit longer.
Survivor: The Moon Just think of the ratings!

You may have fooled me once but I won't be rickrolled again!
He's probably hoping to sue for enough that he can retire and move to the middle of nowhere...or Afghanistan.

Why stop there? I want each and every pc sold anywhere available with an OSX option.
If I could only have one thing on a deserted island it'd be a yacht.

Yeah, because pregnant women and nursing mothers are never moody.
Wait, did you say you were married?
Which is why he started his post saying, "It's the same old story, to a point."
