I don't think it's about configuring the buttons. I think it's about configuring how to interpret the movements. Most people don't bother adjusting the speed the mouse moves but a lot of people may adjust how sensitive their wii controller is. Maybe even have different settings per game type. Playing tennis? You want to do a full-fledged swing. Playing some fps? You may want very slight movements make a big difference in game. So maybe just two settings of responsiveness depending on whether you want to swing your arms around or whether you want small movements while resting it on your lap.
And to top it all off, things like leaks in gmail are exactly the kinds of things that can become issues to nontechnical people.
My mom mostly uses her computer for email. She often ends up leaving it on gmail for ages. After complaining to me about how slow her computer gets I finally got around to installing opera.
Only if you trust the rating system more than you trust the editors. A lot of people are generally okay with a PG-13 but occasionally come across some that they believe should have been rated R. Not sure whether you trust the rating or not? Pay a bit extra for an edited version.
His first sentence had nothing to do with which version of PS3 is bought. Even at $600, the player on the PS3 will likely be adequate at best if the PS2's dvd player is any indication.
Although the diffraction device works for both reading and writing modes, Ricoh will initially offer the device for disk players only. Because some laser beam energy is lost at the grating, using the diffraction device for recording will require a blue laser with higher power than those used in conventional recorders.
It's a good start. Legal issues may end up being the biggest hurdle.
Just to test it out I did 3 searches on google news. One for PS3, one for wii, and one for xbox 360. Now it may change by the time the next person tries this but right now for the PS3 search I'm getting:
Other Game Bundles For the Cost of the PS3
No surprise if Nintendo Wii beats Sony PS3 to shelves
Minter: Sony's PS3 Strategy Arrogant
Then for the wii I'm getting:
Wii On Sale Earlier Than October?
No surprise if Nintendo Wii beats Sony PS3 to shelves
Cubed Report | Hands-On at the Nintendo Wii Press Event
and for xbox 360 I get:
Game developer IGS may tap Xbox 360 market
Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 3 vs. Wii
Xbox 360 and Wii orders ramping up, say chip makers
The ps3 articles just seem more negative overall than the others. This is something I've noticed for quite some time now, actually. I do these searches on a regular basis to keep up on the latest and the trend has been negative for PS3. Granted, it's possible that it just so happens that google news searches sites that tend to be anti-sony but I doubt it. Do a search on some other sites and see if the trend is still there.
Well, Nintendo is not going to ship 3rd party games. Not everyone who buys a wii will also buy every first party game released during that time frame. Plus, many games will be made available by Nintendo online which they are probably not counting as part of their "shipped" numbers.
OK, so the statement doesn't really toss out the idea of the console releasing in September, but it does add some weight to a more credible idea of the console launching in October. As was and will be until September, we'll just have to wait for Nintendo's statement.
Nintendo didn't deny the rumor so much as say that we'll just have to wait until September to find out. Still, a September release seems HIGHLY unlikely.
It's important to remember this is still speculation. As far as I can tell it's based only on a comment by P.J. McNealy of American Technology Research that Nintendo has already started manufacturing the final units and Microsoft started manufacturing 69 days before launch.
But Microsoft didn't really get enough units manufactured for launch and Nintendo may have learned from their mistake. So it's very possible that the launch will be later than this guess.
or C.) The criminal mastermind using his phone is also monitoring his calls and disconnected him when he started talking to the T-mobile rep about what was happening.
That's a good point. I guess I'd just imagine that a lot of the impressing when it comes to games like RPGs would come less from actual time playing the game and more from descriptions of the story, key screen shots, etc.
I've been excited (and impressed) about puzzle games after I've had a chance to play it a bit. I've been excited about RPGs when I hear a bit of the story, find out the game play will be similar to game X, and see some awesome screenshots from important parts of the game. So if they want to impress critics I would imagine they would show those things rather than giving game time. And if THAT'S the case, it wouldn't matter much whether the game was playable at E3 or not.
How long have they played it? It seems like it would be really hard to rate role playing games based on only a couple of minutes of playing them. 2-3 minutes of playing a puzzle game should be sufficient to have an idea of the quality but that amount of time on some other games would maybe give you a chance to create a character and see the opening scene.
If/when someone decides to steal a laptop, there would be a cultural taboo on that person, as he/she would be recognized from the laptop's loud colors as someone who stole a computer meant for a child.
Or someone who bought a $300 one so two children could also have one?
Some people are going to donate them for charity whatever price scheme you use. So if it's donated, whether it's "worth" $100 or $300 on the black market, there is a chance someone will sell it rather than use it. Should people never donate then?

No problems on Opera. I'm surprised I didn't even get asked for a username/password once.
You misunderstood him. He's buying a super nintendo, not a wii. He can sell all his supernintendo games when he's done with them.

And unfortunately the studios would never sell those versions to the public.

Answer: Price
For a lot of things hd-dvds will be adequate.

So someone's paying to advertise PSP but not PS2?

It's called falling...with style.
Hmmm that is impressive and better than what I've experienced.
Used in conjunction with receiptopedia you can get a lot of money from Best Buy
Hopefully it has better sound quality and battery life. I haven't seen PDAs to be very good for music listening in the long run.

They could be considering two (or three) being essentially tied as possibilities.

Just jerk your controller in morse code to type. As for tax records, didn't you see Tax Smashers 3 at E3?
