Someone recently posted a picture of me that gives evidence that I recently shrunk to the size of a 3rd grader...along with all my old 3rd grade classmates. Do you think I could get insurance payments to cover treatments? Maybe we could use this for a class action lawsuit.
Here's a question: are standalone GPS significantly better than a cell phone GPS?
Because in the examples you gave, the standalones are miles ahead of the phone equivalent (at least in the majority of phones).
While cameras in phones are getting better, they still generally aren't the kind you'll want to print and put up on the wall.
MP3 players in phones tend to be nowhere near as usable as an ipod (or many other mp3 players).
PDAs I'm least familiar with (at least current ones) but I suspect the same still holds true there. Certainly a few years back the PDA I owned didn't have an affordable equivalent built into a phone and my PDA wasn't anywhere near top of the line at the time.
I have never used a GPS and wouldn't know the difference between what comes standard in a GPS phone versus what comes standard in a stand-alone unit. Is it enough for most people who already have the former to also pick up the latter?
I've seen way too many cars unsafely slow down when they spot a cop car. Sometimes they weren't even speeding but their gut reaction is "Uh oh...I'd better slow down". People will be going 5 miles over the speed limit and I'll see off in the distance a trail of cars suddenly hit their brakes and go to 5 miles under the speed limit until they get past the cop car. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it has caused accidents on occasion.
Is it just me or does this sound like it might create more accidents than it prevents?
Sometimes I recognize that I need to do a correction (speed up, slow down, watch out for some other car driving recklessly, etc.) and my wife recognizes that need at the same time and makes a loud gasp. At those moments I find myself more distracted and occasionally make a stupid mistake (like pressing the brake harder than I need to). I worry that a loud noise and lights may make drivers panic and make poor decisions in response.
How do you touch the TV? The 18 foot multi-touch screen IS the remote. You should see the TV screen it comes with. It'll give your 92 incher penis envy.
"There exists, however, a natural collector that converts part of the solar-radiation spectrum into heat with an efficiency exceeding 95 percent. The remarkable device is polar bear fur."
"Polar bear hair may be a natural fiber-optic cable. A cross section (right) shows a solid shaft surrounding a reticulated core. The shaft apparently can trap ultraviolet light and aim it toward the skin (above)."
"Grojean believes the hair shaft somehow conducts scattered radiation to the surface of the skin (which is actually black), where it is absorbed and converted into heat."

Particularly this part:
"No interpreted code may be downloaded and used in an Application"
Does the emulator allow users to download ROMs over the internet? If so, then there's a problem. If not - ie. there are a number of licensed ROMs embedded in the application, then there should be no problem. Simple. He just needs to release each game-pack as a self-contained app - that's all.
So are browsers banned? PDF readers? Office software? I can download a PDF over the internet and use it in an application (a PDF reader). Do PDFs need to come with a self-contained PDF reader? I don't own an iphone so I honestly don't know, myself, but it seems ridiculous if it's true.
I'd much rather a slashdot game summary link to a game review than a changelog. Sure, not everyone will agree with the review. There are individual preferences. But personal preferences aside, some games have design flaws that make it less fun for most people. Some games have unique quirks that make it more fun for more people. It'd be interesting to learn of some of those kinds of differences and I don't think there's anything wrong with asking about it.
It's only more expensive at first. Once you get enough Kindles to line the cage, you can wash them and never have to buy another one. Try washing newspapers! Parrots live a long time and eventually you'll find that those Kindles actually pay for themselves and end up saving you money!
There are a lot of TBA vaporware games listed there. Still, a significant number of real and released games remaining...but the number that you quoted is not very meaningful.
Or a reminder to Norway. I can't imagine why, though. :)
Haven't we already had sudden jumps of 10 years to human lifespan due to medical advances?
The end users in this case are advertisers. This will result in more eyeballs seeing their ads.

I hate it when my schwartz gets tangled.
Perhaps they were afraid he'd be assassinated. They can't award the prize to dead people.
If Ford installed the powertrain and the ultimate failure was immediate, I'd vote for Ford.
The zodiac holds the most obvious relationship. Everyone knows Geminis are smarter than Aquarius folk. It's in the stars.
Is there an alternative key? My laptop doesn't seem to have a pause key.
How long before Obama's health care program covers it?
Should bluray players that don't include an hdmi cable also say that?

Comic books FTW.
You don't send air conditioning technicians to people with those. People who call in a technician likely have much higher end models.
Apparently the quote is from the CDC website
I thought they changed it to appeal to womyn.
That reminds me of years ago when a really hot chick working the register at my local Radio Shack asked, "Can I have your phone number?"
Taken aback, I replied, "Sure, can I have yours?" That didn't go over well. I bet she hated her job.
