Polygraphs are generally by default assumed to be conducted under less than scientific conditions, and so typically polygraphs are not admissable in most cases. However, as I said, they can be at the discretion of the judge involved. Presumably if a judge did that erroneously or on a whim it would be grounds for an appeal.

I can't speak for Canada, Europe, or anywhere else, but in the United States, polygraphs are (sadly) admissable in most jurisdictions at the discretion of the judge. Of course, the other side can challenge the admission of a polygraph for various causes.

Yes, plasmas are cheaper than a flat-panel LCD of the same size.

However, they are NOT cheaper than a rear-projection LCD of comparable size. That's basically a regular LCD with a projection lens to make the screen appear bigger. It works great.

I've got a rear-projection Sony LCD (Grand Wega IV -- 55") and it's great a great picture. I love it. No regrets at all.

You might check the VSYNC (Vertical Sync) setting on these games.

Often VSYNC is OFF by default (because it provides higher apparent framerates) but not having VSYNC can make people sick due to the 'tearing effect.'

Turning on VSYNC generally makes the image look more stable and smooth. This might be your problem. Just a thought.

Turn on VSYNC and force your 3D apps to use a high refresh rate (75 hz if possible) -- usually you can do this in the Advanced properties of your display settings.

Basically, when your mortgage is paid off, your equity (ownership) is tied up in your house. Which you can't really access unless you SELL your house. Have a reasonable mortgage you can afford and then invest the rest in stocks or funds. Hell, if your house is already paid off, get another mortgage and invest the cash in stocks! You can generally get a mortgage for about 7%, and if you're halfway awake you can get at least 10% from stocks.
