  1. REPHRASED :D on Apple Announces Tiger Release Date · · Score: -1

Rephrased: This release must be special if Apple change the MacOSX page background to black, instead of following their regular white and candy colour scheme. The list of new features is all the more reason for people, like me (windows users, to migrate to the Mac. I would like to, but the hardware is expensive, even if the OS isn't.

Meet the world's most advanced operating system.

It strikes me as odd that advanced means user-friendly of their description of their updated OS. Sure, it's all streamlined and nice looking for the user, but how is it actually advanced.

BTW, What karma level is below horrible, and how do I get it?

That however strikes me as a little bit odd.. how is it advanced? As in, advanced functions are now user friendly with the 200 new features? I guess I'm just stupid, all the more reason to buy a mac.

and just why is this under the apple section?

I went to the site, and it doesn't look as bad as the leetspeek one, so I skimmed through it.

It's nice to see there isn't any obvious bias in the information, and it's pretty straight forward - I can fathom why they'd want to make a page like this, but it wouldn't stop anyone from purchasing that ever-so hip iPod/mini/shuffle/gumstick. However, what irks the hell out of me is the amount of songs that fit on the player is given using music in their proprietary format, wma @ 64kbps. Given that, it is a good way to suck in the novices (are there any left in the world?) and make them look for players that support WMA and such.
