Note that there is a difference between flying the _toys_ like Easy Star and a _real_ RC plane doing 110kph at 4kg powered by an ethanol engine.

I believe that the passing of this bill will have an "interesting" effect on the political climate in Sweden in the following years. The process that lead to the bill getting passed have exposed sevral rather embarrassing facts about the political system
- We have a thing called "perssonval" is mean when you vote for a party they have a list of candidates and you can mark one of them to give them a personal vote. This can in turn change the list so people that have allot of personal votes gets to sit in parliament despite the fact that the party did not want them to. This has been exposed as an elaborate ploy since the delegates are "whipped" the Swedish word ruffly translate to "the party whip". This alienates the younger generation further as the se this process as an way to the younger persons in the parliament . But since they can't act according to there election platform it's FUBAR.
- The bill is out of sync with the rest of the country and peopel are asking who really is behind it (tin foil hat alert). This will off course make the current problem of mistrust politicians even bigger. This feeling is the strongest amongst the young.
-The current right wing (using US standard extreme communist) government have lost a lot of face an will most likely loose a lot of votes to the left wing (using US standards extreme communist 2 burnout the revenge next generation 2).
-It has effectively shown the Swedish people that politicians are lying bastard. What they say in public policy documents are worth nothing and they only act in self interest. Not that i had any illusions of the opposite.
This is results in a rather interesting election in 2010.

I have made a PIC16F84 implementation in VHDL and i can't understand where you get the impression that it's a "braindead horror show architecture". I find it small and good at what it is suposed to do. "tricks to compensate for the hardware's flaws" have you ever used a pic for real? Plz tell me about these flaws. No you are wrong the PIC is good controller when you need a small effisent and SIMPLE micro (remember kids: use the best tool for the job).
I fear that the real issue here is that most "real" engineers feels that the PIC is to primivite and to limiting. It lacks the bling bling of other Micros (who needs a stack that you can "use" when your app is 400 lines of assember?). And the "real" engineers have collectevly decided that the PIC is CRAP and thats that.
The pic is an EXELENT first uC to work whit! And the you need practically nothing to program it. An exelent IDE is avalibale to. But not that it's not considered a "good" uC for some strange reason. If you say you gonna use a PIC to a E&E guy the start loooking at you funny.,... mutch like a programmers do if you say you are doing it in VB. I understand why VB is "that" way but not PIC.
Just stop recomending OpenGL to everyone, OpelGL is dead in the game development world. DirectX is mutch better, it has everything you need. Math/Grafic/sound/input/networking, justing opengl is dumb. There is no other market other then the windows one when you are creating games.
No i say go whit MDX (Managed Direct X). Just watch tutorial number 4 where he creates a engine from sratch that have mesh,sprite support.
Leveling in WOW req about 0.00001% of the 10% of your brain you use. And all i do i unattended leveling i do watch the screen but i'm more in a sleepwalking state then paying attension. Playing snes games on ones pocket pc is a good way to kill leveling time to.
So you are telling me that for every googeling I do in the quick search bar mozzila gets paid. I was under the impression that this was free software. Not some scam to make $$.

I find that the time invested in creating clever sentences in a internal wiki can be better used elseware. Save some time and do a nice little Latex template and spit out nice looking PDFs instead. The Latex source can be CVSed if you like. And don't lissen to me i'm full of crap.
If Starter edition have support for DirectX it will be known as Vista Gamer edition. "The Starter edition is a streamlined version intended for low powered PCs found in many developing nations.".. Linux for work and Vista as a game Os. Ahh i se it now..
