    Ah yes. Flamebait = I disagree.

    I for one, disagree, with this simplistic argument. For example, when we use coal or fossil fuels, more damage is done, but it is distributed, and less visible (and easy to take pictures of the victims).

    Nonetheless, there is no way in hell the above post is flamebait.

    Ah, yes, young and gulible. Maybe you trust the current owners. Will the current owners be able to resist shareholder pressure? Will they always be the owners? Will they decide to find new challenges once they have mastered the web? Will they live forever? Will that data magically disappear once new owners take over?

    If I've learned anything about history, it is that power corrupts. Religous, secular, white, black, rich or poor, it does not matter. Give it time, and Google will abuse their power.

    And the difference between microsoft and Google? Your data lives on Google's servers.

    The article isn't entirely clear whether the app reports back to MS your web surfing locations.

    Yeah. Thank God, we can rely on Google to not do anything like that. Can you imagine what potential for misuse there would be if a company like Google recorded your web surfing habits?

    Interestingly, almost 80 percent of teens indicated that they intend to spend less time playing video games in 2006 and nearly 70 percent indicated that their interest in playing video games is decreasing.

    At least TFA did not refer to anything showing that the afe group itself was experiencing a declne. If you looked at the underlying data to see otherwiser, then I just have one thing to say: "You must be new here".

    Hey. I, for one, enjoy marathon gaming sessions. In fact, I am currently addicted to a game which has hours of intense game play, and is difficult to walk away from. When I find Slashdot isn't enough to keep me stimulated, I wander over to this game..
