I agree that it's silly uneven treatment, but I probably think it silly in the opposite way as you (I would say both should be open to ridicule). Heck, if someone's (baggy pants, gold chains, white) or (mullet, (rusted out, maybe?) Camaro, black) they should be mocked. Basically, skin tone shouldn't invoke (or suppress) ridcule, but rather the stupid or socially unacceptable or rejected things the person does. But I'm tired and rambling, so I'll go back to playing my murder simulator video games where I'm learning how to kill anthropomorphic mushrooms. Obviously later tonight this will cause me to go out and rob a convenience store or somesuch. News at 11.

It's HORRIBLE! I'm sick and tired; I wish I could fire these jokers.

Please people, don't keep electing back the same morans. Don't vote for Party X because it's what your family does. Grow a pair and vote for someone who will fix whats wrong with this country. I hate to turn around and generalise myself (so please do your research before voting one!), but I find most Libertarian cadidates want to fix our country. PLEASE let's let them.

None of the companies I worked for allowed us to hang up on a customer except under very specific circumstances, the universal one being if the customer was directly abusive to me (the CSR). Of course, not all will operate on the same policies (point-in-case: AOL), but for this to happen in this situation sounds very odd.

The major flaw of that comparison is that VB was within Nintendo's field. Certainly not all of Apple's PCs have been amazing successes.

Now, if Nintendo had attempted to produce a home computer and that had flopped, it would have made much better comparison.

As it stands though, Apple showed that they were completely out-of-touch with a market they had never entered. Why would they be any better suited to lead that market now than they were back when the Pippin was being worked on? Because of their success in another completely different market (iPod)?
