You really can't be gay and be a Christian, they're incompatible.
It should be mentioned that while the bible says homosexual activity is a sin, it also says that all men are sinners. If people who sin are incompatible with christianity then no one is compatible with it.
Surely you realize that judging a very large group based on the actions of a very small minority makes your argument rediculous. You make as much sense as someone who hates an entire race of people because he had a bad experience with a single individual.
The trouble is h.264 is free to the individuals consuming the content. Being free to use isn't always a benefit when you are at a corporate level. You can spend all day trying to explain that CentOS will work just as well as RedHat, but a corporation will still choose RedHat so they can pay somebody. That way they have someone to point at when things go wrong.
If the game was written properly its size shouldn't change how long it takes to port it. Game logic is intrinsically cross platform. If the code that renders scenes, plays sounds, accesses the file system or uses the network is sufficiently abstract then the time to port any given game shouldn't vary much regardless of its scope.
I personally prefer the direction Intel was going with Moblin/Meego to Android. I wonder if this means Intel is going to leave Meego development up to Nokia?
Who is to say that the descriptions of the bird were not passed down in legends? It seems entirely possible to me that the bird was painted after they had become extinct.
I don't understand this argument. There are thousands of applications out there that only run in Windows. Nobody forced Adobe to support Linux, but they do. Now because it doesn't run quite so well on Linux as it does on the OS it was designed for Adobe is accused of not supporting other operating systems.
I run 64 bit Arch at home and making flash work consistently took a lot of effort. That being said, I did get flash working. That would not have been possible if Adobe had chosen not to spend the money getting Flash working for what amounts to a fraction of the market.
A better question might be why do you have PCI data on a laptop at all? Something tells me that the airport is not part of your cardholder environment...
It starts with a random flip of a bit. Then, before you know it, Voyager is headed back to Earth to mete out justice on its primitive creators. Robotic evolution has begun...
As much as I like Google I hope they get the book thrown at them over this. To claim that they have accidently been collecting this data for three years is just silly. If you can make money breaking the rules and there are no consequences when you get caught then why would anyone follow the rules? Corporations are rarely influenced by things like morals or ethics unless there are financial penalties making it the cheapest option.
It is a little disingenuous to suggest that military spending is siphoned out of the economy. Tanks are one of the last things we don't buy from China after all...
Not that I am defending them, but you can still watch hulu with 64 bit flash in linux if you use hulu desktop. If, like me, you had to compile a firefox plugin to keep flash from crashing all the time because your cpu doesn't support the lahf instruction you will need to preload the plugin to get hulu desktop to work. Something like this should do the trick:
Following your logic the same effect could have been triggered if the clerk smiled at her, or asked her if she found everything she was looking for. This lawsuit is just as rediculous as either of those would be.
You don't have to use 3d studio max to generate an image with a computer. I would suggest that this image is in fact generated by a computer. It's just generated from sonar data instead of an artists interpretation.
Yes, but if you didn't have to hold down the button then someone would bump the button by mistake and crash when the power steering turned off putting us right back in court.
I imagine that particular problem would be distinguishable because the data would show the throttle going from 0% to 100% and back with no values in between.

What do you know, it looks like my manager posts as an AC on slashdot.

Inoffensive? That site is rife with strangely familiar looking goat porn!

even Doom has dependencies on DLLs with an operating system
I know Doom was ahead of its time, but being a DOS game with DLL dependencies is pretty impressive.
So I am supposed to read the results of "Big Man" over at PNAS? Why does this summary look like the contents of my spam folder?
Something is funny about the whole notation.
I think you used that word incorrigibly.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I imagine most people would sell all their stock to better enjoy the little time they had left, thus destroying the economy and defeating the purpose.
Javascript has the same concept and it is used on alot of sites, slashdot included. Should Apple disallow web browsers?
You do realize that cable television was an analog signal that required a special box to decode for years...

Not to mention all the baseballs that will shatter their windows in a storm of fallacy.
This eerie wreck image is not computer generated.
