What're you talking about?
This mouse is EXACTLY what I've needed for Marathon!
Wow, now I can finally play proper...
Will it work with System 7/NoUSB?
Fact of the matter is, he's trying to help. As much as I don't like MS, this is a good thing. Education should not focus on just one language. A broad knowledge is MUCH more important than a narrow knowledge. Knowing VB.net's architecture and syntax will make it MUCH easier to learn a multitude of languages. It's just like learning a foreign spoken language. Once you become fluent in two, picking up others is MUCH easier.
I think they understand. It seems to me that the kid is showing that he understands the scale of the plant to, well... he's just a kid after all. I sure hope this isn't a field trip. Kinda early to start sex ed.
Considering that ~85% of the Autobahn DOES have a speed limit, and that there is a rather lower ammount of vehicles on the road in Germany, you're adding apples to oranges.
Old Testament, mang. Don't mean to be a douche, but the Old Testament wasn't written much as the New Testament was. The New Testament was essentially overseen by the Holy Ghost/Spirit. It was all written by a man's hand for other men to understand. Because it was written by a man's hand, it may not be grammatically correct, or to a t, but the general truth is supposedly in tact due to the oversight of the Holy Ghost/Spirit. Spoken by someone who grew up a Fundamentalist Christian but has since found too many questions to believe either side.
Well, people whine and whine, and don't seem to realize that there will STILL be cracks and backdoors. Always will be, and that's why I'll continue to use free Microsoft products that I find necessary.
-pets his new BSD machine-
In a manner of speaking, he knows them TOO well. The original trilogy (4, 5, 6) used models as opposed to CG. In my opinion, the models were MILLIONS of times more convincing than the CG in the past two movies. It's almost as if he's stretching the CG too far.
Cell phones are made great in my book by durability. I've had 2 Samsung phones, and I wouldn't have traded them for the world. They're damn tanks, and I've seen Nokias, Motorolas, and Sonys go to shit real quick. It's all relative, though. I really don't see myself buying one of these, and I will admit that they've started throwing in extra crap that no one really needs in a cell phone.
Can't blame ya for not wanting to buy another, though. I wouldn't buy them if it weren't for their durability.
I live in Austin, and from what I've been able to gleam, the freighting is the main cause of traffic on I-35 passing from Dallas to San Antonio. Of course, living in Houston, I-45 had the same traffic problems. It's mainly because of the metropolitan sprawling that has been created by the desire for more. More people want more room, but all find work in the same tiny areas.
In my honest opinion, pushing carpooling and mass transit (which is a dream in Austin) will drastically reduce the need for highways and byways. Besides, who wants to get their home torn down for an interstellar by-way?
I don't understand how you people get so much junk mail. The only junk mail I get in my Yahoo account is crap that I signed up for way back when I first got it, and I get absolutely NO junk in my GMail account. It's all about NOT putting your e-mail on the web. Secrecy is key these days.
You don't mention 7.x. That was a fun line of OS's. So much customization software. I miss being able to do the things I could on that system. Makes me wanna hook 'er back up again and see it crash every 10 startups.
But what if you want to put 40/80 GB of your music collection on a music player? What if you don't want to have to remove/upload music every time you wanted to hear something different? I know that even at 128kbps 1gb isn't a whole lot of music.
/me looks behind all 4 computers in his room...
Well, I see a SCSI port on my Macintosh Performa 6300CD, but none on the 3 PC boxes. I've got a 486 inherited from a neighbor, a Celeron I bought in '98 , and a Dell that I bought a year ago. The Mac is from '95 and I actually use SCSI on it. Really a shame my PC's don't have it, 'cos I love SCSI.
I have a legit copy of Windows XP Professional SP2, and the built in search engine REFUSES to work. I'm a bit of a techie, and I've had several professionals look at it. They're all baffled. Google desktop does what it should, and if you're not doing anything illegal, why would you worry about someone seeing a list of your files? It's all about perspective, and I love the program.
HOYVEN!!
I thought Canadians spoke English & French, not German... http://command.com/
"Give me victory, or give me potatoes." Shouldn't be too hard to change a word in a few textbooks.

Soylent green is... people?!?!
Heh. Leap to Quantum. Don't EVER reference that show again.
"More shameless... ...pointing fingers..."
Hope you're not in the U.S. If ya are, then you've already paid for it!

Caught me off guard too. Not until I rtfa did I realize that the authorities didn't make an arrest for something before I had even heard of it.

Seems their Asteroid.net software is a bit buggy.

Anyone know where to get a true rotary phone? I want one!
I'd preffer to start sending 'em all over to Australia again. That seemed to work pretty well, and hey, they're not doin' so bad now!
