I could have sworn that Google bowed to China's censorship demands once before, and then retracted the censorship policy after wide-spread outcry. Or am I just misremembering things? Because if so, this seems pretty dishonest on Google's part. It's hard to make a statement about the importance of free speech if you keep changing your position on the subject. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the giant mega-corporation was just following the money.
Nothing helps you get over an anxiety problem like people telling you you're just lazy, let me tell you. You're just not working hard enough, stupid! Only an hour or two (or three) on your math homework? And you still haven't made any progress? You'll sit there all night until you miraculously figure it all out, dummy!
And every time you look down at that sheet you break into a cold sweat. You get a head full of fog, and every stab at every problem is like groping around blindly. You desperately flip through your notes or pour over the text book, both of which are like trying to read Cyrillic. And all the while, everyone else in the class blazes through the material, leaving you far behind. It's because you're not trying hard enough. Work harder, moron.
I must confess, I am not familiar with the Australian popular history of their treatment of Aboriginals. But in America, it seems to me that there is a very dim view on the treatment of Native Americans. Aside from the feel-good stories told during Thanksgiving, popular culture seems to view early Americans as barbaric towards the native peoples. I welcome further input on the subject, in any case.
If turbans are part of the attire, I don't see why someone can't make a bullet proof form of turban. Does it have to strictly be made of nothing but wrapped cloth, or can a sort of Kevlar weave be worked in beneath the material?
Where you're from, do 5th Graders normally build structures big enough to fit a person inside of, equipped with electricity, plumbing and virtual crack? Can I move there as well?
I hope they're not planning to re-use music from City of Heroes in Champions. They were using it in that trailer, and it would be a little too bizarre hearing it in the finished product. Does Cryptic even own the rights to use CoH resources for Champions, now that NCSoft owns CoH?
Does it seem surreal to anyone else that, according to the article, both clerks recognized what a Bat'leth was? Colorado Springs: where Trek nerds control all the local convenience stores.

...And sometimes the same sex!
Clearly you've never been subjected to pony fans.
That is perhaps the most apt description of Anonymous I have yet seen.
They appear to have missed the futuristic Batmobile which appeared in Batman Beyond. Maybe they figured it didn't count?
Pshaw. Like a guy named Grapplebeam should have any trouble throwing people.
Ain't that unglamorous.
At least the Yao Guai and Deathclaw populations remain at normal levels.

Personally, I prefer to get a four-man killstreak and launch a counter UAV. An EMP works equally well, if you're doing especially well.

+5, Insightful
Only in EVE would the players decide that network failures are a factor they should take into consideration.
What could possibly go wrong?
Maybe he got the idea from retail and restaurants in the US, where it's customary for assholes to berate the employees for no reason at all.
I kind of like "maledictions", myself.

Shaddup, you. His use of pronouns made the sentence super hot.
I've always wanted someone who hates me on /. :D
I haven't been this excited since the last time I watched paint dry!
The wife and *me*. To say nothing of the lack of copulas. I'm terribly sorry, but I had to bring this up. I have an out of control grammar addiction.
