  5. And juice is way worse than eating the fruit would be. First of all, you drink more than one fruit worth of juice in a typical glass. Second of all, the fiber that comes from eating fruit slows down the absorption of the sugar so your body has more time to deal with it. Drinking the juice is a much quicker sugar spike.

  8. One thing that surprised me about Sprint service was the unlimited service and data included international roaming in Canada. I certainly did not expect to have free roaming in a forein country and unlimited data included.

  9. Sounds great in a commercial. But in the real world, I see no difference. I can connect everywhere I go. While people on AT&T have no connection even in places I get one. To me, they are all the same. It is just marketing speak. And if you believe what they say on TV, I have a bridge to sell you. Cheap too!

  10. My Sprint plan is "unlimited in every way". I'm not going to look online for it because I have had it for a few years and don't know if their current plans are the same.

  11. 12 minutes for what? Was that supposed to be some sort of statement that has meaning? You forgot the part where you give us useful information. Besides, designed for and reality are two different things. I have used the 'L'. Traveling two stations down would take 12 minutes. you could walk it in that time. I almost never used the trains because it was adways quicker to fight the traffic and drive around looking for parking. sorry, 'L' loses out.

  13. Right. But that isn't happening yet. Is it cost effective? Does it actually work? I read somewhere in this slashdot page about how pallets of shampoo block the signal. If you can't read every tag it is no good. Plus, if two people leave the store at the same time, you can't tell who has what.

  14. But he's still subject to the same records retention laws that Clinton was willfully subverting.

And how would sending an email from his official FBI account to a personal Gmail account subvert any record retention laws? In one case there are no records retained in government servers, in the other case there are. This does not sound like the same thing. Possible leaking of secure information is another matter, but that is not the main problem from my understanding.

  20. Frequency does not matter, really! I don't care about getting on a train in 5 minutes if it takes 45 minutes to get to my destination. Taking a car would be only 25 minutes because I don't have to stop at a dozen stations along the route. So 5 minute wait, or no minute wait with faster arrival where I want to go. See, the train looses out to the car. If I can skip the stations along the way then the train becomes much more useful.

I really don't understand how you can claim the windows don't help. Forward motion will not cause a problem, but changes in your orientation will. Such as when the plane banks into a turn. I have felt major disorientation or dizziness when the plane banked unexpectedly and I did not have a view outside once I looked out the windows, even the ones on the other side of the plane, or many rows ahead of me, it got better. The eyes can see the horizon, or some reference in the clouds that allow your brain to make sense of the turning you are feeling. Turbulance would be another part, where one wing goes up and the opposite goes down real quick, looking out the window makes that much easier for your brain to follow.
