I only know of two places (aside from home) I could charge an electric car, Just my workplace, and the shopping center nearest my house.
aka 99% of the trips I make.
Now, it's the 2 hours drives I make occasionally to visit my friend that I'm not sure I could make, but there are places to charge, if I had an electric car (which I don't)
This will all end very suddenly the moment the Managers realize that this means their own jobs can be outsourced, offshored, and their job made 'redundant'.
Why pay a middle manager full US wages when you can have it done half as well for a quarter of the cost?
Yep, the API versions 3.0, 4.0 (95), 5.0 (ME), and 6.0 (Vista) had a LOT of transition pain, where old applications and drivers didn't work. 3.1, 4.X (98), 5.X (XP) and 6.1 (Seven) were a lot more stable and standardized.
The only question in my mind for if Eight will end up popular or not is if it will be API version 6.2, or 7.0 (or skips to 8.0 for marketing reasons... in which case it'll be the worst ever.) That is, will you need new drivers for all your hardware? Will some old business apps break?
That involved being on the other side of this airtight hatch.
How long would it take to actually penetrate the containment building?
From Wikipedia:
The containment building itself is typically an airtight steel structure enclosing the reactor normally sealed off from the outside atmosphere. The steel is either free-standing or attached to the concrete missile shield. In the United States, the design and thickness of the containment and the missile shield are governed by federal regulations (10 CFR 50.55a), and must be strong enough to withstand the impact of a fully loaded passenger airliner without rupture.
I think (not sure) that Sony mostly invented the 3.5 inch disk format (particularly the hard shell with the sliding cover) that was pretty succesful. They also won the Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD battle.
Which is worse, a potentially recyclable plastic bottle in a landfill, or a bottle of the wrong/contaminated plastic in the recycle bin?
I try to err of the side of not spoiling the recycling efforts of others. If it's clearly the right type, I'll put it into the right bin... but what about the soda can my friend used as an ashtray? prescription bottles for toxic drugs? soiled paper? (locally pizza delivery boxes are supposed to be composted, so how about the donut boxes?) glass that wasn't from a bottle (window glass), etc. etc. What about the bag of salad I got recently that had Salmonella in it?, should that be composted and spread around, or 'thrown away' like the health department instructed?
Well, there's North Korea, where if your grandfather put a newpaper page with a picture of Dear Leader on the floor, you could end up being born in, and spending your whole life in a prison labor camp.
Apperently DPRK has a policy of carting off 3 generations of a family at a time for political reasons.
Recall when practically everyone was demanding that bank executives give back their bonuses?
This is exactly why I was against forcing them to cancel bonuses that they were due by contract, because I wouldn't want it happening in my industry.
I do think those found to have commited fraud, etc. should be jail/fined, but invalidating legal contracts is a very bad thing for government to do. Basically, it's Bankruptcy.
I'll tell you though, I've been pretty happy with my car (Toyota, for what it's worth) that over 6.5 years I've only opened the hood once, just so I knew how in case I ever had to.

IBM Model M, a keyboard that you can use to kill a man, then use to type his obituary.

Imagine if Apple bought T-Mobile, then refused to sell their phones through any other service provider?

Nitrogen is the most popular gas to breath, but that dosn't mean it's any good.
Good luck with getting balance budget amendmnt/law without a 'Time of War' exception.
A Series of Tubes, eh?
OK, what if a Hydro-electric dam uphill from your nuclear power plant ruptures, causing a tsunami-like wall of water to crash over it?
(Someone call Michael Bay)
How about a Scrooge McDuck style dive into a pebble bed?
Sounds to me like an attempt to stimulate the economy while being better prepared for disasters...
And Pork, delicious Pork.

So yeah, it could be worse.
My understanding was that the reason they ask about Arrests if that the charges might still be pending.
I like the Disneyporn game.
Go to Disney.com, and only left (primary) clicking links, get to Porn (genitals/female nipples), I used to be able to do it in 8 clicks.
Their webservers were 'Powered by HP', which also 'powered' some sports website... a couple shady banner ads later, Porn!
Hmmm, dosn't that mean that rising medical costs actually increase Insurance co profits?
20% of a $5 drug, or 20% of a $2000 drug...

So, why doesn't your boss pursue criminal charges?, and/or sueing them for losses, including the unemployment paid?
Sounds like he needed a better laywer. (Represented himself?)
Absent a program giving cash for grades/attendance.
I know I would have done a lot better in school with a cash incentive.
It's called a Motorcycle.

May or may not be Pork, but there will be Cake.
Which is why we have bankruptcy judges.
Can find a job right now? judge can order payments deferred at minimal interest for 3 years.
Hit by a bus, and a quadraplegic? judge can order loan discharged.
Bankruptcy is not an automatic debt erase button.
