For every false claim there are 10-20 or more true claims that are dismissed by saying "she was asking for it", or never reported because of the backlash that female accusers receive. False claims do happen, and are often not handled well, but they are tiny noise in the massive cacophony of women who are harassed and assaulted. If men are truly scared of hiring or getting professionally involved with women because they are worried about being accused of harassment, it sounds to me like they need to look at their own behavior.
I totally agree. I am a huge nintendo fan myself and I feel that this move by nintendo will help them much, much more then it hurts them in the long run. However, I think that what ever console they come out with later when more people have HDTV's should have HD support to appeal to a broader market.
Google does seem to be trying to take over the internet, and possibly, the world. However, unlike some other companies that we know **micorsoft**cough** cough** google is not ruthless taking any means nessecary to beat its compition. For example, google is not trying to buy Yahoo or Microcoft. At least not yet....
I go to a used cd store to buy my CD's and they only cost $7.99 or $5.00 on sundays. That is a lot less than $.99 per track. Go figure..... By the way, they sell DVD's for the same price.
I fail o understand why someone would need an ipod video. I personally do not feel the need to carry a little device that has videos on it everywhere. I would rather carry around DVD's and a portable DVD player or a usb hard drive and a laptop. If you have video on your ipod, you have less room for all of your favorite songs(alothough how many people have 10,00 favorite songs? Go figure) On another note, there are already enough ipod versions out there. Who needs more types? If you a different style mp3 player, go buy one from somebody else.
I think that the main problem in this issue is how do you define " violent?" it is also a disgrace that parents let their kids play these kind of games at all. This isuue could be solved by boycotting games such as GTA. That would stop the game companies from creating the games in the first place. The reason that these games exist is because people buy them!
if the companies had put DVD technology on the market when it first was devoloped in the 80's, we may have found a way by now to make them more scratch resistant.
as the article said, this is obviously a ploy by microsoft to keep these people from moving to other OS's such as linux. I say that we should let linux take over this market, it is a better OS

This situation is very different because banning advertising on these sites is a lot easier to enforce than drunk driving. Also, only if you drive drunk are you supporting drunk driving.
