2 years of Lutheran school, 4 years of Jesuit school.... This has nothing to do with the whole religion thing that you're talking about, but I deciding what college to go to in the fall, and one of the picks is a school founded by the Jesuits (Canisius). I was wondering if you'd mind sharing any thoughts/opinions etc., on the school that you went to. I'm not particularly religious, but I am familiar with the very high opinion many people have of Jesuit schools. My mother (a teacher) does think that I'd do well in such a setting.
Granted, it's been a while since I've flown anywhere, but since when did the airlines start offering a choice of meals that could *ever* reflect any tendencies of a person besides the airlines being cheap? ("Salad or chicken, sir?") You can almost always get a vegetarian option, as well a limited number of different ones for people with allergies (non-peanut probably being the most common) or religious backgrounds. The great thing about something like the veg. meal, is that they tend to be fresher then the others meals, mainly because they don't make so many of them.
Not really, (I realize that this is just one part of your post), Myspace is just a "social networking website", mainly just another way for kids to talk to each other. Except for the fact that it's done online, Myspace mine as well be school (except without the learning and all the boring stuff), kids go there and talk to each other about what's happening in their lives. I mean, look at the metadata, "friends networking sharing photos finding friends blogs journals blogging journaling bands music rate pics join groups forums classifieds online social networking". What do I see? People sharing crap and gossiping. That's high school for you. (I'm sure some people learned stuff in high school too; hope you had fun doing that)
Seriously, its about time, I mean, everyone knows that Microsoft is evil, at least now they have the balls to admit it. If we're lucky, during the next few days, Microsoft will buy out every major open-source project out there. And maybe buy out Apple as well. Then we won't have to worry about drivers and such not working on our machines, becuase there'll only be one machine! Great days are ahead, I can tell!
Surveys within Great Britain have shown that more than a half of 9-19 years olds have seen pornography online.
And the other half lied.
But seriously, what's with the title, "pr0n"? How old are we here? Call it porn, or don't talk about it at all.
Once they'd idly play solitaire; now they idly click on a porn site.
And for others, its just the reverse, porn has lost its luster for me, I play solitaire heavily now. Don't get me wrong, I still look at porn, but sometimes its just so boring.
Mr. Praline: Um...now look...now look, mate, I've definitely 'ad enough of this. That computer is definitely frozen, and when I purchased it not 'alf an hour ago, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged software install.
Owner: Well, it's...it's, ah...probably pining for the fjords.
I took a webpage class not too long ago, within the last 12 months at least, and one of the things we had to do was to make an image map. It was worthless, well, not so much the idea, a clickable image is a nice thing to look at and all, but besides writing below it that you're supposed to click on a certain part, how the hell are people supposed to know what to do? And if you're going to write on the page anyway, just make some links, they're a lot nicer, and you don't have to load an image, not fun for those people on dial up (yes, they still exist, and some don't even have 56K). Overall, that class was worthless.
The parent post was not a troll, he was simply showing how gross generalizations are a bad thing to use. But in response to his post, I believe the GP was saying that it would annoy the fanatical group of religious people, obviously not you.
Or just download them for nice easy payments of nothing....
On the whole though, I quite like BF2, except for the fact that it needs a graphics card about $200 out of my price range. Actually the specs for it confused me ever since it came out, what exactly is so special about the game that it requires all this new stuff to play?
First of all, to whoever modded the parent OT, you're wrong. That said...
I would like to, but at the same time, I don't want to pay that much simply to listen to a couple of stations and nothing else on it. Sure, they've hired Stern, but still, thats not enough for me. To the people who tell me that no commercials are the best thing ever, well, news for you, I'm using a cassette adapter to play my CD's in my car, no commercials and exactly the music I want. So yes, XM was a hyped product of 2005.
Your thoughts?
Or someone can figure out how to decipher the backup tape of Wikipedia a thousand years from now?
Sure, just go read about it on Wikipedia!
Oh wait....
The Myspace thing... ok, that's new.

Completely agree. I wish that they'd at least update the news, even if it was just to say "We're still here". The last post being about 5 months old.
That would kind of defeat the purpose of him posting it in his messege, now wouldn't it?
So for programs that use Freedb, e.g. I use dBpowerAMP, does this just mean that they won't be able to grab track listings anymore?

Thank you man, finally got my laugh in for today.
Great. Another person who nevers RTFA.

How like them, a suicide run.

Well, I did just break 13000 or so....so yeah, I do enjoy it.

They do, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFDB There's no article, but it does say,
Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (Tin-foil hat)
And then we go to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tin-foil_hat
and see everyone's favorite piece of attire
Of course, depending on what type of music it is, the teenager probably already has all of those CD's, not on CD of course :)

I don't plan to get back into sitting alone in a darkened computer room playing games for hours on end, ever.
Then I hate to break it to you, but I think you're on the wrong message board...
Nothing for you to see here. Please move along.
Now there's a feature.

Who knows what would happen if those embarrassing tapes were allowed to last forever?
Future generations would know of Paris Hilton's sexual exploits? Hmmm...better destroy those tapes now, and save the eyes of future generations.
