    Most people doesn't hate the USA. Except some (or rather, many) things they do.
    It is not specific to the USA, if China would do the same, it would be China's deeds that people hate.
    And there ARE deeds of China that are hated.
    So, nah, it is not about the USA, it is about deeds.

    That password was owned by Verizon. He should have changed it to 'own' it, but he didn't.

    This situation is like: you go into the shop, pay for some item but leave it on the counter.
    The vendor notices it, runs out of the shop and hands it to you, again.
    You scream a hissy fit that the vendor dared to touch YOUR ware.

    He should have learned from this lesson and not be a dick and post this on Slashdot.

    So, the GP is right, either religion (especially forceful conversions) will be gone, or we will never survive on long term in a multi-species environment.

    It is not enough to be savvy, they need to be powerful customers who can avoid a vendor lock-in.
    It helps a lot if you are a customer who can set the standards because you are the only customer.

    If they don't get cured, they will switch to something else (if there is something else).
    If they are cured by that something they will likely use that cure next time (also word goes around).

    I asked: number of planets in solar system

    Of the three: wolfram, bing, google; only wolfram alpha has some faint idea what I actually look for.
    But wolfram only parsed 'planets' from the sentence.
    So, if i asked 'number of planets in the fridge', it answered the SAME.
    Still, a long way.

    You could have just transferred the generic part of the code back home.
    No one would have given a damn.
    You could even truly claim, you worked on the stuff on your free time.
    Somethings it is better for both parties to not talk about the issues.

    It is utterly irrelevant to me, though i use Ubuntu. I didn't pay for it, i don't even remember how i got it :)

    It was quite easy to me on normal difficulty. I didn't even try to find the difficulty settings.

    Depth is relative, for a hybrid shooter-rpg it was adequate. For a plain shooter it was deep.
    For a plain rpg it was shallow.
