Correction: Stupid Hackers Not Afraid Of Being Caught. There is still a risk despite all the proxies, routing,SSH and secure encryption.A person underestimating risks is more likely to get caught.

The next phase would be:plugging into an interconnected matrix of computer networks and connecting feeding tubes to your chamber. Starcraft is the best game blizzard created.Though StarEdit is very lame. The UMS maps creation capability could have improvement ten times over. They just release patches for little bugs.
I been caught in that linux hype, and tried to switch from win98 to mandrake 7 or 8 or something similar. The gui was nice, even control panel was there.expirience of actual usage proved i need to read megabytes of text to configure stuff,so i dedicated a week for X windows configuration. After trying every FAQ it finally worked and i was "Delighted" to know that many parts of linux require similar "fiddling and configuring" to work. All Libraries and drivers must installed properly or else.Trying to relieve the stress i played few of those silly games bundled with mandrake, some sokoban clone. After loading gimp i spent a hour to figure to draw few lines, and that after consulting help.Everything was extremely awkward and unintuitive.Trying to listen to music proved frustrating, becuase i needed the drivers which i couldn't find. In the end of expiriment i Fdisked back the MBR,formatted the drive, created a fat32 partittion and happily installed win98 back with all my backup disks.
I laugh at new computers without the floppy drive.Removing floppies was mistake. They're extremely useful when you need to share files or boot dos with diagnostics.
The problem slashdot stories from a week ago(or more) which don't change but aren't open to discussion, and require searching for. In a normal forum you could reply to threads 5 years old and still have discussion(with all the updates).
Wikipedia is what mainstream thinks is right or informative. Its only useful for describing the outline of the subject,if it penetrated the minds of thousands to be included.
Its not a world repositiry of knowledge. Its consensus report on what majority defines as knowledge.Nothing else. Those large technical articles which contain lots of accurate data are result of dedicated editing efforts, which can be striken off if it gets into dispute.
And most wikipedians only think of this as quirks or grouphink, becuase people who didn't like it leave.I seen dozens of articles, describing legit(though mostly obscure) topics get deleted for such things as notability.
Its a common sight to see what you serched for in Deletion log. Small articles are expecially vulnerable, becuase they can't grow/improve if deleted.
I never use swap (for about six years) and had a 256MB ram machine with win98. Thing is i run into out of memory errors, when running alot of stuff, though rarely(windows takes 35MB by itself here). Now with 512MB i could run practically anything.
Internet is negative influence if you sit online for hours. However its not much more "negative" then staring at television. Living as heavy internet user will change you socially. The thing is impact is very different for different personalities(social people don't suffer much, when nerds get more withdrawn). Limiting your computer time will solve it(e.g. shedule to dedicate only 2hours and then turn it off.Don't leave it just "in case").
Wiki "forum" part is lacking. It just can't compete, even with most primitive forum software.Forum/wiki needs: A integrated Content Management System where users can upload resources,change/write articles and have individual discussion forums for each articles.Wikipedia only has image uploading and it requires manual archives to be kept.Plus wikipedia talk page can be edited by anyone(which dhould be changed to adding new pages).
